Alex you're often shifting down too aggressively. Look at the footage of esports drivers, they almost never go below 3rd gear, even for hairpins. When you brake very late and then shift down to 2nd or even 1st to get it stopped, it often kills your momentum at corner exit - that makes you lose time to faster drivers.
