I haven’t watched designing women since I was little & reruns were on. A few weeks ago, I saw it on Hulu & started binge watching immediately lol I was always Blown away by the chemistry between Julia & Reese…. & now I know why! I had no clue they were married irl 😳
Everybody talks about his role in "Deep Throat". Let it go. He was young and probably only made a blue movie because he needed the money. But Hal was great in Barney Miller.
Hal Holbrook portrayed the role of Deep Throat (the pseudonym of a high level FBI informant ) in "All the Presidents Men", based on the book by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. Holbrook was not in the adult movie "Deep Throat". Nor was Hal Holbrook in the TV series "Barney Miller". The actor you're thinking of is Hal Linden.
I love Hal Holbrook and both amazing actors, But I don't like Dixie she seems a narcissist fake and she is not really being herself in this interview she is acting as a likable version of herself it is well known she was a bully and very demanding at times, Even before being informed of that I got a bad vibe off her. But I will give her credit Hal is a kind gentleman.
