Tapa are Austronesian culture, Batik is advance states of Tapa, Tapa original from Indonesian, but Polynesia and Mirconesia may lost metal technology, cannot bring horse, waterbuffalo, elephant, but only bring taro, yam, mulberry, chicken, small pigs and unwanted 'rat', some knowledge making of iron, rice paddy and others exist in Malaysia-Indonesia also gone. but some tradition surivive like making pottery, architecture, stonework, tapa/bark cloth, making ship and boat, craving and farming of taro, yam etc.

@@leont5096 Not every samoan function uses the Tongan Ngatu, some still use the Samoan siapo but it's rarely made these day's,
