The Goblin Rider Xyz is more to trigger the effect of Gabonga on your opponent’s turn for consistently, but they need more cards like Gabonga, which trigger when a material gets detached.
I also think it looks like a way to work with old school goblin monsters because of how they would all change themselves to attack position after attacking, but that does little in the actual goblin biker archetype.
Listening to you talk about the snake eye card that destroys made me realize that the synergy with fire king is very good it's also searchable And it being a quick play can allow you to play around targeted effects
Do I really mind if the new Gold Pride support isn't top tier? Nah. I just want more cars and motorcycles and horses. That said, it's actually a better way to go into Nytro Blaster than Nytrohead himself, so I like it. Seems flexible enough, I'm happy.

Snake-Eyes Field Spell can now go get Snake-Eyes Diabellstar instead of a Flamberge and get an additional material to use in their S&T. Seems like a decent extender in that regard, as previously I think you end up going 2 Flamberge instead. First effect is really nice removal to help overcome other bosses... Snake-Eyes can get their monsters (and opponent's monsters) out of the S&T zone decently enough, other decks may not have that luxury. And it won't trigger "leaves the field" effects, GY effects, anything.

The Goblin XYZ is bad, however it does give the deck a new wincon! the Goblins get stupidly big with their continuous spell, so using this it's quite easy to get lethal on board and just attack over anything.
It's fitting for Goblin Riders to be bad, because every card that shows them and Diabellstarr, makes them look as goofy and annoying as possible, but if you just ignore them, they will cause problems, as we can see in Dramatic chase. The new XYZ fits in perfectly, it's horrible, but can sometimes, if the stars align or something, get a cheap win on the opponent.
Sinful Spoils is the new Branded in case someone else didn't know... and the problem with their "DMOC" is Eternity not being played in the ocg so a LV8 extender is unfortunately useless, but I'll surely give it a chance.
I think it's so odd that TCG players look at decks through the lens of the OCG when the meta is so different. It's always felt like Goblin Riders are going the same way Unchained did in the OCG where people think "It didn't do well because it plays poorly into Maxx C, therefore it's gonna be bad in the TCG." People discounted Tear that way too because of how strong Sprights were with how it interacted with Maxx C as well. Its support cards in LEDE aren't great for sure but to say the deck is bad before it's even come to TCG feels like we're just repeating history.
The play would be to quick synchro in your opps turn into the synchro 8 with Leon and Assassinator token, roller baller even deer note, popping 2. Which is decent. Baits interaction at the very least.
The big Poplar lets you cycle him and Flamberge while dodging targeted grave hate. Battle of the Sinful Spoils require BOTH players to be playing SS and, seeing as its a Tier 0 situation right now, very few people at high power events AREN'T playing them.
The last thing gold pride needed was more pops, we already have the very strong trap card and the level 6 synchro, even nitro if youre really desperate AND pinballer for non destruction removal. Is one negate too much to ask for instead of MORE pops?!
Requiring this 3* on field with the big head just to trigger a single interruption is complete garbage, I wish they could come up with interesting actual Meta relevant TCG exclusives.
I was really looking forward to the OCG support wave for Gold Pride and I am so sad that it's so incredibly mid. These cards are by all means a worse version of Leon and Star Leon. Assassinator could be a nice extender to push through interruption but it really isn't what the deck needs
@@hurrdurrmurrgurr Imo more monsters are fine, I just don't see any way in a GPP combo where you would end on the new guy instead of roller baller. I can see the new lvl.5 being good in a more pure version of the deck maybe using a smaller punk engine but I just think it would be brickier
@@FrankOcean-- It's a free add off of the Cont Spell if you drew Carrie mid combo. You can just get Baller out of the Grave with a SYE Leon anyways, so you can drop it with Chariot. Can't really see my self running more than 1 Assassinator though. Too mid for that. Though funnily enough, Ass + Ball is Baronne :')

The lvl 5 dude is pretty good (esp in pure). Just make sure you run a Cyber Saurus in your extra so you can have access to Cyber Dragon Infinity and easier access to Baronne.
I disagree. Snakeeyes actually needs supports. They have a solid way to get bodies on board. But no end goal. No board they want to end on. Also pls expand more on the spell Trap zone gimmick pls Konami
I’m really disappointed to find out that the Snake-Eyes archetype has nothing to do with rolling dice whatsoever. Apparently the “snake eyes” part is because all of them except the boss monster are level 1, which is really lame. Genuinely, this is the issue with having one format. Konami has to sacrifice design creativity for competitive viability. If we had a lower power format they could have made an archetype that revolved around rolling two 1s on a pair of dice and no one would’ve batted an eye, but no, instead we get some new stupid lore cards that “have to push the limits on what cards are allowed to do”
It's only the third set for Diabellestar... At this point Branded was at Springans reveal and Visas was at Tear second wave and the first Kashtiras. Neither of those lores were deep at that point. Though you can argue Branded was more interesting at that point, Visas was uninteresting until we had Mannadium.
@@felipebarreto97 I feel u but even Visas we had an idea what the premise of the lore was by the time we were in Tear Era. Albaz already had the Dogmatika story line established at least. I personally don't know anyone who knows what the basic premise of Snake eyes lore is so far
I think it'll surpass Visas eventually, Snake Eye lore feels a lot more lighthearted which is refreshing imo. Not sure if we're getting another series-spanning story on the level of Branded or World Legacy though.
I'm going on 50 hrs. ➕️ playtesting with kashtira goblin riders & I can honestly say it completely shuts down at least %80 of the meta especially with d-shifter.
The Gold Pride card being a level 8 synchro means that it slots in very well with Gold Pride Punk

The lvl 5 making nitroblaster is not baaad. Pop something, end phase go into Nitro lvl 8 and summon the token on opp field for more pops
