I just wanna let you know that you are doing something really special with these vlogs. I don't even know what it is but I just feel it, and it's obvious that many other people are feeling it too. Thank you so much for sharing that special something that's super positive and comforting.
It doesn’t matter how many vlogs you make, I still do not get tired of watching your vlogs. Your vlogs have served as an inspiration for me to make the move to NYC!
As a 60-something woman, I have to say I really appreciate your videos. Watching your videos actually helps me to be able to shut down a bit, and handle my husband's major health issues. I grew up in NJ and NY, moved to CA decades ago, and if I could do it all over again, I think I would enjoy the life you lead. You have a strength and courage that lacks in many people (myself included). You show that ordinary days have value and purpose. Real life isn't about how many pairs of Prada shoes you have (I have none), or that eating at a way over priced restaurant is an everyday reality. Thank you for sharing your daily life with us. Keep doing what you do. Keep being the real you, and keep going ! I have a feeling, you will achieve anything you set your mind to. P.S. You may want to sing more. You have a great voice.
I always say that normality is the most underrated thing in the world. Seeing you living your life with its highs and lows makes your videos so relatable. It'd be so easy to make a shiny video where everything is perfect but what you do is show us that it's ok to feel fed up sometimes and that's really cool. We're all made of the same stuff and it's nice to know that we're all going through the same stuff as well. No matter how many thousands of miles we all might be away from eachother (I'm in Liverpool, UK) we're all still doing the same things and just trying to live our lives. You're going to nail the marathon and we're all dead proud of you. Oh and I love the washing machine 😂
I also missed a concert I bought tickets for during marathon training!! Gotta do what you gotta do. You still supported the artist by buying a ticket. My husband also told me “we can just think of it as we paid X amount for really good sleep” which made me feel so much better lol sending love!
If you put a fan on your clothes, they dry super fast unless it's too cold and even then you can put a space heater that blows air if you need to get them dry faster. That's what I do and sometimes it's even quicker than the dryer. Depends on humidity and temp.
I love the ordinary weekend vlogs, and the fact you look like you really enjoy them too. I’m the same, I love a weekend where I get all my washing done and achieve something just for me! Wish more people would normalise ordinary weekends ❤
My best friend passed away very suddenly in January, and her birthday is tomorrow. I have felt nothing but sadness all week, but your video brought me peace and calmness and comfort. You may not think that you provide that for us out here in the world, but you do. Thank you for continuing to make videos even when it is hard and you are struggling in your own life.
I ran New York in 2001… it was my first marathon. It was hard. I would say you are very prepared…you’ve run your distances, run in the rain, and you will have your hat :) We all love you here… the mundane and the exciting…all of it. Take care of yourself. :)
Proud of you for getting out in the downpour and running when every ounce of you doesn't want to do it!!(been there...) Glad your hip is feeling better 🙂
I can't explain why I find it so comforting to watch someone admit that a busy, expensive city is crushing them. Hope you crush it right back, Chelsea! Love the blogs! Keep going! x
Dear Chelsea, I am sitting here on my 35th birthday. I hate birthdays and this one kicks me hard. Being really sad, criying because my ex did not say happy birthday, and being stressed because I have overextended myself with letting a friend sleep in my room for a month...well, what should I say- my body reacts. Still I tried my best: called in sick at work, cooked myself kinda healthy "Sloppy Joe" (It takes two) and watch your video now. I am happy, that you cheer me up and you are giving me a better mood! Do not stop! xoxo form Berlin!
For anyone who needs: youre stronger then you know, the thing youre chasing is closer then you think, keep going and practice self love. You are worth it. You got this!! ❤❤❤
I feel like you are the only RUclipsr that does realistic vlogs. I've had those days where you have plans to go out and then realistically you realize you need to stay home and just rest.
I am a thirty something living in the forests in Germany. I moved here n april from one of the most populated ares in my country. And i love it. This year has been tough with a death in the family, my grandma going into a home for elderly with dementia, me moving, starting a new position, failing miserably because i fell into burnout and losing my job... i am someone with a mental health-background so feeling like falling apart is not that new to me and yet, here i am fighting for every string of my mental wellbeing that i can grab.. these videos are giving me everything. so much comfort and calm... i don't have for myself right now. so thank you
great vid ! I actually prefer vlogs at home, doing daily tasks, grocery shopping and late night home organization. please make longer videos you are so peaceful to watch ❤
I HIGHLY recommend the Maggie Sofa, it is incredibly deep, very comfortable and perfect for serious lounging. And without cushions it’s the same size as an XL twin bed!
I am a child of the 80’s and when I am having one of those days, Debbie Deb’s When I Hear Music It Makes Me Dance. It has been sample a million times and I will hear the sample and cheer up.
I like your messy, chaotic real vlogs..its like catching up with a friend and you make me laugh. A good laugh if you feel lighter afterwards is escapism. Be you, we like it 🥰🙏
72.9k subscribers? Omg! Go girl! The algorithm gods were shining down on me the day they fed me your channel...and I'm pretty sure you were in the 30k's and it wasn't very long ago at all. Is it weird to say I'm proud of you? Sorry if it is, but I am!🤣 😊
I would love to see a full unpacking and settling in to the new apartment video! When you have time ❤ Love your realness. Sending good vibes from New Zealand 😊
Seriously absolutely loved this vlog. I listened/watched whilst I was eating my breakfast (hey from Australia) and it helped me feel okay that there ARE others having "ordinary" lives like me at times.
Hi Chelsea, I love to see your channel. It is so relaxing watching you doing ordinary things and talking about your life. I am a girl who also doesn’t cook so much, watch lots of tv and take long naps, so its like FaceTiming a friend who lives in nyc. Thank you for your authenticity, even your ads are so kind. Good luck with ny marathon, I’m rooting for you from Chile.
I came to your channel because I too am a runner in my 30s. As someone who trained for my first and last marathon alone too, your vlogs are just too relatable (highly recommend half marathon length, its rewarding to see yourself getting faster after each). Happy to see your channel growing so much!
Yay you uploaded, the highlight of my week. No that is not sad, I work my ass of and I get to work and watch at the same time, I edit videos for income, a.k.a. my job. You are my age group and that is why I love your videos, I see a lot about me in you, some parts of my life can be boring, but most is exciting. Love your videos no matter what you make. Hannes from Nelspruit South Africa
Thank you, thank you, thank you Chelsea! you have no idea what a relief it is to see new video from you after really bad day at work! Sending lots of ❤ from Poland!
hey chels, so so happy to see your vid after doing work this morning. the last few weeks were such a hard time for me and it did feel heavy as you said, so i felt really comforted to hear you talk about it lol. some words that have been getting me through are 'my best looks different every day' and 'always be kinder than you feel'. i find that being kind to others or even just making eye contact (which is sooo important to making people feel seen and important) and giving a quick smile on days that I'm feeling shitty can actually make me feel better too. love you chels and you're killing it!!
You uploading a video during my lunch break was everything I needed today. Thank you! I've had an Ikea couch for years and I prefer to nap on it than in bed. I'm your height-ish and being able to stretch out is perfection.
I'm a 68-year-old woman and I love your vlogs. If I had had a daughter, I would have wanted her to be just like you. I admire your independence and sense of adventure. I do have a suggestion for you. Drying your clothes in a small apartment is adding a lot of moisture to the air and could lead to getting mold. I think you need at least a small dehumidifier. I have two, in one in each of my bathrooms. They work well and were inexpensive. I have nothing to do with the company, but Tabyik makes smaller ones. I got mine from Amazon. They have a 25 oz one and a 42 oz. They take up almost no space and have a light which makes them ideal to double as a nightlight. You run them 24-7 and empty when full. The tank is clear so you can see the water level. I think it would also make your clothes dry a bit faster if the air were dryer. Good luck with the marathon, I'll be anxious to see how it goes for you. Take Care.
30 something living in UK just sat down with Thai food to watch and smiling as you then went onto order Thai too. Love these real life vlogs, so so relatable 💕
Just came across one of your videos about two weeks ago and I don't know but something click. I have no plans of moving to NY nor will I ever run, but I have been loving your videos! I have been binge watching them. I guess it was just the right video at the right time. Been in a flow of getting my life a bit more together as a 30 year old. Your cleaning and moving videos helped a lot with that 😇Like you have said yourself, you're showing realistic life of a 30-something-year old trying to figure out life. Not the over glamorous life, just normal life. So thank you for making these videos!
As someone who moved to a new city a couple weeks ago on my own, I relate to you so much! I’ve been struggling with finding new people to hang out with but your videos made me realize it’s ok to be alone sometimes. And it’s not even that bad! I’m always busy with uni and work so I’ve been doing better! So thank you for that. Good luck on your marathon! You can do this!
Ordinary vlogs are good, even if all you're doing is enjoying your new appliances 😁. As a low energy person myself, I'm proud of you for doing that run. You're doing so well, Chelsea! 💜
Practice what you eat for race morning. Some things to keep in mind, the buses that leave from the library leave super early so you'll get to the start line very early. The ferries are a bit more flexible, but its still a long ride from the ferry to the start line. So you might get hungry, bring food you know won't mess with your stomach
Hi Chelsea! Your videos are so relaxing to me. I always look forward to them. Especially during my down time before making dinner or going to bed. I just love how authentic and down to earth you are! You make me feel less anxious and stressed about life. How it doesn’t have to be perfect and aesthetically perfect. It’s real life!! Keep going l! I’m rooting for you and your comments section is proof there are many! Sending lots of hugs ❤
Hey, what's your second bdrm going to be? Is it going to be an office? Not sure if you want my ideas, but this is what I would do for the space: 🤗🙃🙂 If it were me, I would make the second bdrm my official bdrm & I'd make the first bedroom my living room/ office! That way, you'd get a lot of sunlight for your living room/ office ( in one of the rooms ). In your actual living room, you could put an armoire in for all of your coats & possibly shoe storage...... a couple arm chairs & reading lights - -cozy...... & an area rug. Also, a small bistro table by the kitchen for eating. I love designing spaces.... so, that's just what my brain came up with. 😉 Anyway, that's what I would do! ; ). But, I don't live there, so I'm going to go organize my own house now...... lol..... 🤣☺
I'm a long distance runner who has run several half marathons and one full, and I WISH I could treat my body as lovingly and intuitively as you post long run. You inspire me!
Add up all the little things you do in a day that equals you are making progress. In moving forward in life. Just also wanted to say thank you. Your videos are helping me in many ways. I just started watching your videos a week ago
Hi, I really enjoy your channel. I remember moving to another city knowing only one person when I arrived, that was 34 yrs ago. All the best with the marathon, I ran it in 2003 and got hooked. You're strong, powerful and mighty!
I love how realistic your vlogs are; it makes me feel like I'm hanging out with a friend while folding my laundry. 😅 It's also good for me to use as little motivation to do a little jog on my treadmill later--if you can do it, I can do it! We're in it together!
Thank you for such a real and honest vlog ! Now I know I’m not the only one with such thoughts and feelings- good for you for recognizing self care was more important ❤
I cant wait to see your living room set up/decor when you buy your couch etc!! I wish I had good recommendations but I am going through the same right now!
I like watching your channel! It's so calming. Whenever I cook or do my stuff, I watch your videos. ❤ Don't stop, you're doing well! 💪🏼 And yes... the last days are mentally heavy :(
I sooo hope you get to experience Fred Again one day! Truly life changing in my experience, but so proud that you were able to truly choose what was best for you and your body and take the well deserved rest ❤
I think I said this before.. I’m a lot older than you but I get so inspired when I watch your vlogs I love how Real you are you are so entertaining and down to earth. Thanks so much for sharing your authentic Life in NYC with us! 😊👌🏻😍🌼
Hey! New subbie here!!! I’m enjoying the content…keep them coming!! I do have a quick question… do have links to the dryer, washing machine, and drying rack?
I’m glad you noticed that you needed to take time to chill, even if that meant not going to the concert! You are such a hard-worker and an inspiration for me! I’m in high school with dreams to move to NYC, and your realistic videos are so comforting and make me so excited to eventually move there!!🤞🤍
I just watched your moving vlogs, you are such a joy to watch, I was not bored even for a second, your personality shines in these vlogs so I subscribed.
Hey Chelsea, I feel your pain, I was going by train to Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴 today for a lovely brunch at my favourite place but all trains are cancelled due to the horrible weather. Sad but will move on. Such a realistic vlog. You’re so disciplined to run in the rain when you really don’t want to, well done ❤
I cannot be the only one mystified by the dryer on the ground - the entire time i've been watching these vlogs (new subscriber haha can't be more than a month) i was like "hmm that looks like an automatic litter box" but i never ONCE saw a cat in your apartment -- that is the cutest little appliance!!!
have to say thas was PERFECT. Going through a bad time and also like glued to the couch, but seeing you leave makes me say she you can get up and go out¨ is hard the first steps but I do it. THANKS
the beautiful weather during the week and pouring rain during the weekends in nyc has been absolutely killing me!! and again this saturday has rain forecasted it’s a cosmic joke
My life advice is do your best and let God do the rest. Also you don't always have to want to do things. Discipline is more valuable than motivation. Always.
Hi Chelsea. What I like in your conten is that you show the everyday life of a New Yorker. I sometimes go to New York and found some peiple are so naïve and don't imagine New York is not and every day nights in trendy bars after dinner at a five stars Michelin new French restaurant talking with friends about the six figure deal you secure with Jay-z best friend...life is over expensive in New York and 80% of New Yorkers live a ...normal life. Thank you for your honesty and humility. You are nice soul. 17:33
Hi Chelsea, Enjoyed your vlog. You are so real & down to earth. As a senior citizen & mother I worry about you but know you are a level headed strong young woman. You take care & be safe. Blessings!! Debbie 🙏
I’m in the middle of having covid right now and this video going live is exactly what I needed. Feels like sitting down with a friend. I also ended up missing a gig I was looking forward to at the weekend so I know how you feel. Manifesting only good vibes for you for the coming week!
I really love your vlogs. In the least creepy way possible, it feels like we're just hanging out for a little bit. Your subs are growing so fast!! You deserve them!
Couch rec: the Kivik couch line from Ikea!! Theres a loveseat that is smaller than the couch but still super roomy, very comfy and deep. Before I moved to a bigger space, people loved sleepin on my couch because when the back cushions are taken off its basically a roomy twin bed. Also pretty affordable as far as couches go! Definitely recommend.
I've been up since the ass crack of dawn with my children, working a 14 hour shift. I've now got my big ass bowl of store bought jambalaya for my dinner break, ready to kick back and watch my comfort RUclips channel
Encouraging words Be your authentic self every day even when the world is watching life is not a fancy magazine with high price furniture to be looked at and not enjoyed. Its being who you were created to be on the good days and the not so good days, feeling your feelings and walking in your truth. So create or take a day not to create whatever it looks like but most importantly be YOU because your Great ❤
Ahh 🤗 i get so excited each time i see your notification!! the most realest and relatable youtuber ❤.. watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦.. longer video would be appreciated 🤗.
A modular couch is always great! Usually more wide + you can adjust it to your space. I live in Europe so can't recommend a brand for you, but mine are from westwing 😊
Watching this (for the second time because it's just so calming and relatable af) while also doing housework on a Friday night in a big city (in my case, Munich). :)
Hey, Chelsea.. : ). Quick recommendation for simple privacy curtains for your kitchen ( maybe even your bdrm/ can't tell if you have curtains there or not ). If you are okay with an easy solution, until you can get something more permanent, Home Depot sells these simple "paper-type" curtains that are super cheap, but do the trick, honestly! I have them in my kitchen & our office...... they are light filtering, but give tons of privacy - - you can fold them up with the clips they provide or let me down & still get light through them. They are only $10.00 a piece - - they've been great for us! They also make them as black out blinds, too ( at the same price point ). They last, too!
Girl, thank you for these amazing videos. I ran today but it was only 4 miles and I napped 2 hours after 😂 i’m so impressed by you pulling 15 miles no problem. Amazing!
You’re my fave out here, you’re just so real! So relatable. Even tho I myself live on the countryside in the Netherlands (and only just visited New York this year for a week haha) I really feel you, and all you’re going through. I appreciate you a lot! It’s always so good to get the notification for your vlogs. Keep it up 💪
Hi Chelsea, I've discovered you recently and I have gone back and watched loads of your videos, I find them so addictive I don't know why! Like everyone seems to be saying, you are so relatable... especially to me as I am also in my early thirties, working a corporate job, and trying to get back into running at the mo....but I'm not living the city life, I live in the west of Ireland :) Keep up the good work, I look forward to your next video! Emer PS: I checked out that song Higher Than Nirvana and love it!
Such a nice video, thanks. You look so good and I admire you working so hard. Good shoes are obviously important for running - proper fit, nice cushioning, no chafing anywhere - glad your hip is fine. Bone health in women can be an issue, maybe discuss with Dr next time you go. Everyone's life seems the same once you get down to the details - love your straightforward attitude. Good luck in the marathon !
I just wanna let you know that you are doing something really special with these vlogs. I don't even know what it is but I just feel it, and it's obvious that many other people are feeling it too. Thank you so much for sharing that special something that's super positive and comforting.
this is such a nice thing to say. thank you 💗
The special thing is " normal" and "relatable" .. love the vlogs !!
I agree
It doesn’t matter how many vlogs you make, I still do not get tired of watching your vlogs. Your vlogs have served as an inspiration for me to make the move to NYC!
Wow, thank you so much! Hope your move went well!
❤
Same!!!

OMG i was just re watching your videos!!! Personally I would even love an hour long video
Noted!! ❤️
I second this!
Agreed!
Me too!❤
I’m very impressed with how you marathon train all by yourself. That takes real discipline . I enjoy your realistic videos😊
I love the ordinary weekend vlogs, and the fact you look like you really enjoy them too. I’m the same, I love a weekend where I get all my washing done and achieve something just for me! Wish more people would normalise ordinary weekends ❤
Potato mode is the only mode I have right now and I absolutely love that you still did laundry. I am proud of you laundry can feel like a lot. ❤

such a nice comment, thank you 💗 good to know about the dehumidifier! I would have never known

Ordinary vlogs are good, even if all you're doing is enjoying your new appliances 😁. As a low energy person myself, I'm proud of you for doing that run. You're doing so well, Chelsea! 💜
I've never commented before but CHELSEA, HIGHER THAN NIRVANA IS SUCH A BANGER. We (I) need your playlist!
Loving the casual at home weekend vlogs/marathon training and seeing the progress on your apartment! ❤
Not sure if you want my ideas, but this is what I would do for the space: 🤗🙃🙂
If it were me, I would make the second bdrm my official bdrm & I'd make the first bedroom my living room/ office! 😉
Anyway, that's what I would do! ; ). But, I don't live there, so I'm going to go organize my own house now...... lol..... 🤣☺
Doesn't matter what you say or do..Chelsea…You inspire me in every single video. Thank you so much…..You Rock!! Have a lovely week…rain or shine
💓💓💓
Your comment motivated me! just now I’m dreading a treadmill workout but because you’re doing it I will too ❤️
Thank you for such a real and honest vlog !
💪🏼 And yes... the last days are mentally heavy :(
Your videos are SO cosy, I'm obsessed! I really love your personality and energy!! Also your mini dishwasher is so cute.
I’m in high school with dreams to move to NYC, and your realistic videos are so comforting and make me so excited to eventually move there!!🤞🤍
I just watched your moving vlogs, you are such a joy to watch, I was not bored even for a second, your personality shines in these vlogs so I subscribed.
love ya!
I think you are going to be so proud of yourself when you did the marathon. I love watching your video's, thank you for making them❤
Had no clue who Fred Again was, until today. These vids are obviously educational.
Hi Chelsea totally can relate about the training ! You are almost there we are all cheering for you & im sure you will crush it !
loved this, watched in my pjs under a blanket
cozy
have to say thas was PERFECT. Going through a bad time and also like glued to the couch, but seeing you leave makes me say she you can get up and go out¨ is hard the first steps but I do it. THANKS
💘💘💘
the beautiful weather during the week and pouring rain during the weekends in nyc has been absolutely killing me!! and again this saturday has rain forecasted it’s a cosmic joke
RIGHT?!?!!?!? it's comical at this point
Hope you feel better soon. 😊
Hope you feel better!
oh no I hope you feel better soon!! sorry you had to miss your gig too :(
I really love your vlogs. In the least creepy way possible, it feels like we're just hanging out for a little bit. Your subs are growing so fast!! You deserve them!
i love these vlogs more than i can say! thank u 💌
I came to the comments just to find couch recommendations too 😂
IKEA for sure. I have my same sofabed from 2008. Ive replaced the mattress couple yrs ago. Comfy! And not too expensive.
I've been up since the ass crack of dawn with my children, working a 14 hour shift. I've now got my big ass bowl of store bought jambalaya for my dinner break, ready to kick back and watch my comfort RUclips channel
Encouraging words
Be your authentic self every day even when the world is watching life is not a fancy magazine with high price furniture to be looked at and not enjoyed. Its being who you were created to be on the good days and the not so good days, feeling your feelings and walking in your truth. So create or take a day not to create whatever it looks like but most importantly be YOU because your Great ❤
Chelsea I love your videos! The reality of everyday life I can relate to! Good for you deciding to rest instead of going to the concert!🥰🤗🌷💗
I have a joybird couch and I absolutely love it. Its so comfortable, you can stretch out and sleep on it and its beautiful. I recommend!
i'm getting ads for joybird everywhere! glad to you know you love it!
For couches, you can get a sectional that converts into a bed. Got mine outside of the US, but I love it.
Love your real down to earth videos Chelsea, many greetings from Stockholm Sweden.
I fricking love it when all my washing/drying machines are running. Makes me feel so productive even if I’m sitting. 😂
Love the authenticity
Ahh 🤗 i get so excited each time i see your notification!! the most realest and relatable youtuber ❤..
watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦..
longer video would be appreciated 🤗.
A modular couch is always great! Usually more wide + you can adjust it to your space. I live in Europe so can't recommend a brand for you, but mine are from westwing 😊
these are my comfort vlogs :’) ty
I can't believe how fast the marathon is coming up😮well done on the run today. Love you too🎉
Great video. Just the relaxed vibes i needed after the Day i had 😊 plus respect for running in the rain. 😮
We just got a cozey couch (ciello) and it's fantastic. Strongly recommend!
Watching this (for the second time because it's just so calming and relatable af) while also doing housework on a Friday night in a big city (in my case, Munich). :)
Another Fred Again fan here! 😊 So sorry you missed the concert! Love your vlogs! Love from the UK
Hey, Chelsea.. : ). Quick recommendation for simple privacy curtains for your kitchen
( maybe even your bdrm/ can't tell if you have curtains there or not ). They last, too!
thank you :)
Love the song! Thank you for the music shares🥰. Thank you Chelsea!!!! You are so dear, rain or shine.
I don’t know why but watching you tidy and do washing is so calming 😅 I guess it feels like I’m also getting on top of my ‘to-do’ list lol
Girl, thank you for these amazing videos. I ran today but it was only 4 miles and I napped 2 hours after 😂 i’m so impressed by you pulling 15 miles no problem. Amazing!
Hiii! I just wanted you to know that you make the best vlog on RUclips there the perfect mix of edited and real raw footage❤❤❤❤
thank you so much! so kind of you to say.
@@ChelseaCallahan ❤️
im so happy of your content, you motivate me to achieve my biggest dream
Awe yay 🥹🥹
Ok I was already loving your videos but finding out you are a Fred again fan made me love you so much more 😭🫶🏼
You’re my fave out here, you’re just so real!
Emer
PS: I checked out that song Higher Than Nirvana and love it!
I wanted to say thanks for all the music recs - added Chemical High mix on my playlist and I‘m jamming to it 24/7 :D
oh yay!!!
