Little note from experience. If you use the Molto do not touch it for 48 hours, or it will take fingerprints and dull. The ink drys to the touch fairly fast, but it takes time to cure hard. You also can't seal it, or it will dull and lose its mirror finish.
I use Molotov for small details on my Saint cloth mith Ex plastic armor pieces and Alclad black gloss then chrome for bigger areas. Some advice use Varathane x3 polyurethane to protect the chrome cause it's delicate.
In theory, could you let the Molto finish cure for a long period of time? I imagine a minimum of 24 hour cure would eliminate all possibilities of it catching finger prints or other interactions.

I’m not convinced this is even remotely worth doing. I need to see it wiped with a micro fiber or something. Your fingerprint ruined the shine big time making it an eyesore

Put the gloss base down and you should be good to go for a long time

Won't this chrome finish dull over time? Like you need to spray a layer of gloss top coat to protect it?
It will if you continue to touch it. A gloss finish actually dulls it oddly enough.
