Here in Florida, ours aren't cheap nor do they have the same quality merchandise. Usually, before people retire to Florida, they sell all their antiques and collectibles before heading south. :'(
The brass candle holder is a courting candle. The girls father would set at a certain height, when the candle burned down to that height the boy courting his daughter had to leave 😂

25:05 silver plate with birds in the center piece. Pierced lace like edging. This looks like a plate I have sitting on my stove top covering the large burner. Mine was made in the Netherlands if my research is correct. The price was nice but like so many things has bottomed out. Still okay money and yours is just beautiful.

The "prayer bowl" is part of a set of paraphernalia for consuming betel nut from Indonesia. I think the betel are kept in the bowl. There is usually a tray on top and four or five vessels where the leaves and lime, etc. are kept. People wrap the nuts up in the leaves with lime and chew them. I don't know if they get a high from it or what. But you see their bright red teeth and gums when they chew and the lime wears the teeth down.
Kathryn Platzer Betel nut is really high in caffein, and acts a little like the coca packets indigenous people in South America use up in the mountains . It gives them. Better endurance, energy, and strength. Nice spotting on the bowl.🖤🇨🇦

Here in nyc we go to stoop/garage or yard sales. We buy stuff for a few bucks then take it to flea markets and mark up stuff. Like buy something for $5.00 sell at the flea market for $15 to $20. Make a few extra bucks on the week ends.😎

Stoop sales in the city can be amazing! It’s been about 10 years since I shopped one. That’s the whole idea...fun to flip things that you find cheap
