    Thank you for this, I just bought The Mabinogion (Sioned Davies translation) during my visit to Gwynedd and was wondering where next to go to learn more about Celtic and specifically Welsh mythology, this helps a lot!

    Thank you for the book suggestions. The more I learn about Celtic myths and heritage, the less I feel I know. Lol

    I'm always on the look out for good books! I was looking for books with the Ulster cycle recently and a set of 6 books by Randy Lee Eickhoff is what came up. Do you have any experience with these? I'm not sure if they would be worth collecting or if there are better books to invest in, like the ones here in This video. I wanted to read the actual ulster cycle myths. Thank you for any help!

      Thomas Kinsella's translation of the Tain is considered a very good one. The Eickhoff books are fantasy fiction based on the Tain - so definitely NOT "the actual Ulster cycle myths".

      @@KrisHughes thank you so much. I had a feeling, glad I asked before buying one of them. :)

    Is there any literature on the Kingdom of Dunoting (Regio Dunatinga?)

    • @KrisHughes
      @KrisHughes 2 года назад +1

      Certainly not mythological literature that I'm aware of. Some of the prominent men in post-Roman times like Arthwys, Dunaud, and Pabo are mentioned in the genealogies and early bardic poetry. I know very little about it.

    Anyone know where you can get a copy of Celtic Heroic age that won't fall apart when you open it to the middle?

    • @KrisHughes
      @KrisHughes 2 года назад +2

      That hasn't been an issue with my copy. Did you buy it new? (Mine is 2nd hand) If you did, it might be worth emailing the publisher.
