I'm loving this. using Audition and also trying my hand at Radio Imaging. Is the template your using available at all? Also, who did the VO for your Triple X 80's. It's stunning.
Oh, the Intro with an old cart. Loved them! Was (many years ago) the best jump forward, since we started playing Jingles and Commercials with three Cassette Players..😅
You're awesome for calling out the dusty ol' cart! I knew the radio dinos would get it. 😃 While I LOVE tech, there was nothing more exciting than loading up the cart machines and praying one didn't 'explode' while playing 2 Live Crew, "Me So Horny". Oh, hang on, that DID happen. 💣
Do you know of a place (or more places) where to find either free or afordable jingle / imagening packs for download. I find that going through alot of different sites to download one sound effect here and one there, is very time consuming. And also if you're not carefull, you risk having sort messy sounding jingles, that lacks sort of an overall soundtheme, if you know what I mean.
Hi Lars! I hear you re. a consistent, uniform sound with your imaging elements. Envato.com has a bunch of radio imaging packs with similar sounding sound effects. As for sung generic jingles, check out jinglesamplers.com. Best!
It would be great if you did a deep dive into, how to use sweepers in RadioDJ. It could probably help figures the following. I'm trying to figure out how to get RadioDj's Track rotation to do a specific thing, but I'm not sure of how to pull it off. But I think using sweepers might do the trick. Maybe you, or anybody can tell me. So what i want a to, is a old radio trick from back in the day. In short it's a sweeper that runs between 2 songs and over the start of song no. 2 so that when the sweeper ends they start singing on the 2nd song. Here is were it get tricky.. for me at least :-) Let's say you have a bunch of sweepers produced. Some matching 2 sec songs intros. Some matching 4 sec song intros and so on.covering intros up til e.g. 16 sec. Let's say the song following the sweeper is a 80s Pop. What I would like RadioDj to do is one of the two following things: RadioDJ choose one of the sweepers (propbably after the Least Recently Played. criteria) and then chooses a 80s Pop song that plays under/after the sweeper that has the right intro to fit with the sweeper. The other thing would sort be the other way round, so that RadioDj chooses the right type of Sweeper determined by the intro of the song after the sweeper. So how does RadioDj know the intro's of the songs? See that part I think I've figured out. I could use the Language field in the Others tab of each track. E.g. langauge "Afrikaans" means the song has a 6 second intro. I hope this rather long rant makes sense so that you understand what I'm trying to do. Things like this is rather hard to explain when english isn't your native language.
Hi, Lars! Totally makes sense. It's something I wanted to figure out, too. My early method using Languages was clunky. Since, I've come up with some more sophisticated SQL. I'll try to make a vid about it or post the code on the RDJ forum.
@@RadioDJDude A video would be preferable I believe. I think a lot of us old radio dinosaurs get ticks whenever someone mentiones something like SQL code... 🙂 I know I do.

Just because some chuckle heads decided to change the definition of the term "jingle", doesn't mean you have to perpetuate it. Stop pandering to the almighty RUclips algorithm and use the correct term. Sweeper, liner.. what a load
Thanks for taking the time to leave that angry comment about word choice. To show my appreciation, I've hand-selected this anger management meditation for you. Enjoy! ruclips.net/video/HSXcZmUN0OQ/видео.html

Thanks, Pete! The template isn't available, but that's a great idea. I'll see what I can do. As for the human VO, I found him on Fiverr.
