very haunting track. uncanny. a bit exotic sounding too, like a cosmic or oddly a... "vacation" feeling due to all the chromatic harmonies... the whole x6 soundtrack is pure genius
Oh yeah right right , I agree with u. Tell what do u think of the BLAZE HEATNIX? I find it was too much of an adrenaline rush , fight the same sub boss in every room, then it had this one I hate the most is when u have to keep going up while fighting that sub boss at the same time ur trying so hard to escape the rising blue flames, amd fighting the enemies at the same time,TOO DISTRACTING
Ground Scaravich himself is easier than his stage. Talking about his stage, it contains 4 totem poles that you have to get through their sections of random sections of the level and after getting through section, you have to fight the totem pole but the problem with the totem poles is that the part of a random section is filled with nightmare viruses and there's this one section in the first/second totem pole that makes it impossible to get through as unarmored X and the injured reploids added in this stage that you have to get through is a chore since they're near by the nightmare viruses, there's an alternate route of the stage but meh, I decided to not go to that alternate route because it would waste my time and yes I got past by the 4 totem poles as unarmored X and defeated Ground Scaravich with no armor, no upgrades, no heart tanks, buster only
@@FlashTrickstar X6 was probably where Capcom was starting to run out of ideas for Maverick bosses. I mean, look at X7...that game had an ONION as one of the bosses!
I was completely terrified of this stage as little, watched my dad playing through this while i hugged him so hard xd i think the mix of this eerie song and all the realistic images on the background made this so creepy for me.. however i absolutely love this track nowadays
Some people think it's bad and I see where they are coming from, the main thing you hear is a bunch of half notes and whole notes repetitively placed, but I really like some of the detail in the background. At the beginning you can hear a harp, as well as a piano playing low pitched keys which adds so much. The second half of the song sounds worse than the beginning, mainly because the notes sound a bit strange, and the harp is gone from the beginning. Kind of wish the main stuff was quieter and they added in something more melodic for the lead. Maybe change up the second part a bit and maybe a third part where it's only one or two of the things playing, like the harp and/or the piano before the repeat.
I get some pretty heavy Omori vibes from this, reminds me of the music from Black Space but more intense Could also work as a Gate’s Lab stage theme or something
That music is a good example of the problems with X6. The soundtrack is cool but... it doesn't fit the stages at all. There's way too much stuff going on for a museum stage. And then with Shield Sheldon? A very soft song for a war base stage.
That is kind of a common thing with X6. As much as I love Commander Yammark's theme, it doesn't really fit a stage that mostly takes place in a cave. And when I hear Blaze Heatnix's music, I imagine a more fast paced level, like Magma Dragoon's, or maybe a chaser bike stage. Certainly not a tedious mini-boss gauntlet.
Shield Sheldon's level is not a war base - it's a research institute. Also this music fits perfect for the stage if you actually play it. The level is less a museum and more a series of surreal cyberspace environments you get trapped in.
The song is just terrible to me. Never looked forward to hearing it. I'm not sure where I'd stick a track like this? Probably slow it down and put it in a menu. Tracks were great when they kind of matched the bosses that went with them but then, I think that only happened in MMX1 for all the bosses maybe. Turtloid's is a really good fit for him. But this... Listen to this, then look at Scaravich up there. Egh.

I praise these guys who created the soundtracks for this game, pure flawless and amazingly creative
Yet they went a little too far with this boss.
Oh they sure did, too overpowerful
MegaMr JIN No, this boss was easy. But he was over the top and ridiculous. He was a dung beetle that threw shit at you.

The high-pitched major 7 chords make it sound like someone drank a love potion and fell in love with someone insane
A good story indeed
Those maj 7 make everything in the song

thats so romantic
This track for some reason reminds of Chrono Trigger I don't know why

this man wrote an entire IGN guide for the stage
Why.... Why did it have to be a SHIT BEETLE?!
Le Dapper Greninja He's a dung beetle not a shit beetle.
You do know what dung is, right? It's another term for shit.
At least it has a mustache

This is probably, the level I've lost the most in any MegaMan stage. For some reason, it reminds me of that song from the ENA series
