고성능 국산전차가 대량생산 단계에 들어감으로써 우리나라는 자유진영에서 아홉번째로 전차 생산국이 됐습니다.
박정희 대통령은 공공 공업기지에 전차공장을 시찰하고 전차생산 제작과정을
하나하나 살펴보았습니다.
박대통령은 이날 완성된 국산전차의 성능시험 과정도 지켜보면서 관계자들을 격려했습니다.
이번에 생산된 국산전차는 현재 미군이 보유하고 있는 최신형 전차 M60A1과 똑같은 화력과 기동력을 갖고 있으면서도 가격은 절반밖에 되지 않아 경제적인 전력 증강을 이룩하게 됐으며 북한 괴뢰의 전차보다 월등한 성능을 갖고 있습니다.
As high-performance domestically produced tanks entered the mass production stage, Korea became the ninth tank producing country in the free camp.
President Park Chung Hee inspected a tank factory at a public industrial base and inspected the tank production process looked at each one.
