It is hardly worth worrying about the results of the competition, much less resent them. It's just a competition. Good reaction video, thanks. You will notice how Diana is very modest and conservative...in her costume having flesh colored leotard covering her bare skin, especially in chest area...and in her response covering her eyes during Kirill's performance when the female dancer exposed her crotch on the piano. I am glad her wonderful adoptive mother raised her with such principles and values. These principles and values will carry Diana farther in life than anything this show will provide. Diana was definitely BORN TO PERFORM...but she does not have a "showboat" mentality like the other contestants on the show. Her modesty and conservative music style does not resonate well in this type of program environment. BUT...we all know and love her for who she is and what she brings to the world through her music and God given voice❣ 💖👍

Yes, you are correct. This song is WAY outside Diana's comfort zone. This is more of a Britney Spears kind of song. The format of this TV show requires all of the participants to perform in a wide variety of genres. But guess what? Diana is a musical sorceress--everything she sings becomes magical!
Your correct, it's not only outside her comfort zone, it's also way under her level of quality.

This is really a song for a Britney Spears type of girl but not a song that qualifies for a singing contest show.

I have a huge sense of pride in Diana's determination to succeed and feel I have to be positive and support her accordingly. I am truly in awe of her unique vocal gift, something that in all my life I have never heard the like before. I'm old and retired so I can spend a LOT of time rambling about her on YT, it passes the time until I take the longest journey! 🤗🤗

Смотря у кого какая номинация, каждый раз у всех разная. Туриченко в этот раз сам выбирал себе песню. У Дианы в прошлый раз была "Гремми", а в этот "Народная". Сам до конца не в курсе, но понял, что там какой-то такой расклад.

Not only is the song very shallow it also doesn't give the singer a real chance to show off their vocal capabilities. To me it seemed like this song was chosen to give the singer the possibility to show off their dancing skills. But that isn't one of Diana's current strengths.
Given the circumstances Diana really made the best out of it.

Мама, я танцую was chosen for the Modern Song category*, the original hit in Russia is from 2018, with two singers Maria Zaitseva and Maria Sheikh of the group 2Маши. Their original song got over 224M views.
She sang it alone in her way.
The more I hear this performance the more I like it better and better. This song is catchy.
*In each round, the participants will be offered nine topics: for example, one will perform a folk song, the second - a song by a Grammy award winner, the third - a rock hit , etc. "
The nine categories are: "Folk Hit", "Song of the End of the 20th Century", "Soviet Song", "Hit from Every Iron", "Song of Your Choice", "Modern Music", "Song from a Movie or Cartoon",

In this show you need to sing in different musical genres.
That's fine by me but do the organizers really also have to assign the songs? Their choice for Diana this time was quite off the mark. While it is a fun song it is very shallow and doesn't really allow the singer to show off their full vocal capabilities. To me it looked like they wanted the singer to show off their dancing skills but that as of now is Diana's weakness because she usually doesn't need dancing skills for the songs she normally performs.
Mireia, according to the terms of the "Showmaskgoon" contest, participants are invited to perform 9 songs in different styles, regardless of their desire. Diana did not choose the song "Mom, I'm dancing!", which the organizers indicated, then sing! We will also see a folk song and a cartoon song performed by Diana! This is the surprise of "Showmaskgoon"! The contestant must sing in different genres...
The problem is that the organizers not only assign the genre but also the song to perform. And while this is a real fun song and Diana performed it very well - well she doesn't have high dancing skills but usually she doesn't need them for the songs she performs normally - it simply isn't singing contest material because this song doesn't allow the singer to really show off their vocal capabilities and it also isn't based on deep emotions.
So the song itself limited Diana's vocal performance. She can only do so much with the song she gets. And maybe the other contestants also expected a better dancing performance which simply isn't Diana's thing as of now. But that might change in the future.
Nevertheless I really like this song and Diana's performance here a lot.
It's really a bit odd that she didn't get a better result this time. Mid-range would have been ok but the last place? Feels fishy...
