I am glad her wonderful adoptive mother raised her with such principles and values. These principles and values will carry Diana farther in life than anything this show will provide. Diana was definitely BORN TO PERFORM...but she does not have a "showboat" mentality like the other contestants on the show. The format of this TV show requires all of the participants to perform in a wide variety of genres. But guess what? Diana is a musical sorceress--everything she sings becomes magical!

That's fine by me but do the organizers really also have to assign the songs? Their choice for Diana this time was quite off the mark. This performance shows Diana can do a bit of "Russian Rapping" too! The idea of this contest is that songs are allocated to the contestants so they have to make the best of what they get. This is good because it makes Diana experiment with her possibilities. She injected a little oriental vibe in this as well. Diana gave it 110% and it was great in my opinion. I have a huge sense of pride in Diana's determination to succeed and feel I have to be positive and support her accordingly. I am truly in awe of her unique vocal gift, something that in all my life I have never heard the like before. I'm old and retired so I can spend a LOT of time rambling about her on YT, it passes the time until I take the longest journey! 🤗🤗

Yes, you are correct. This song is WAY outside Diana's comfort zone. This is more of a Britney Spears kind of song. The format of this TV show requires all of the participants to perform in a wide variety of genres. But guess what? Diana is a musical sorceress--everything she sings becomes magical!
Your correct, it's not only outside her comfort zone, it's also way under her level of quality.
Even in this genre, there should be better quality pieces for her, "Daddy I'm not coming home, I'm already drunk W.T.F..

Diana crushing the other competitors in view count on the NTV website that hosts this show. Her competition combined barely has her total view count combined.
It is hardly worth worrying about the results of the competition, much less resent them. It's just a competition. After all, Diana's voice, her talent, soul, will, passionate desire to sing, intellect remained with her. In the way the "judges" regarded her singing, one can also see something positive. It was made clear to her that a simple pop genre is not for her. It's like firing an artillery cannon at sparrows. She, apparently, understands this very well herself. Diana is a fighter and a smart girl who knows how to draw reasonable conclusions from her "defeats". It would be appropriate to quote Nietzsche 's thought here: "Anything that doesn't kill me makes me stronger." And what is talent without will? Diana said in one of her interviews that if fate closes one door for you, then another opens.

Смотря у кого какая номинация, каждый раз у всех разная. Туриченко в этот раз сам выбирал себе песню. У Дианы в прошлый раз была "Гремми", а в этот "Народная". Сам до конца не в курсе, но понял, что там какой-то такой расклад.

The more I hear this performance the more I like it better and better. This song is catchy.

And while this is a real fun song and Diana performed it very well - well she doesn't have high dancing skills but usually she doesn't need them for the songs she performs normally - it simply isn't singing contest material because this song doesn't allow the singer to really show off their vocal capabilities and it also isn't based on deep emotions.
So the song itself limited Diana's vocal performance. She can only do so much with the song she gets. And maybe the other contestants also expected a better dancing performance which simply isn't Diana's thing as of now. But that might change in the future.
Nevertheless I really like this song and Diana's performance here a lot.
It's really a bit odd that she didn't get a better result this time. Mid-range would have been ok but the last place? Feels fishy...

Not only is the song very shallow it also doesn't give the singer a real chance to show off their vocal capabilities. To me it seemed like this song was chosen to give the singer the possibility to show off their dancing skills. But that isn't one of Diana's current strengths.
Given the circumstances Diana really made the best out of it.

That's fine by me but do the organizers really also have to assign the songs? Their choice for Diana this time was quite off the mark. While it is a fun song it is very shallow and doesn't really allow the singer to show off their full vocal capabilities. To me it looked like they wanted the singer to show off their dancing skills but that as of now is Diana's weakness because she usually doesn't need dancing skills for the songs she normally performs.
