I really enjoy your channel. I also own a Trackster, I fully understand your frustration. There are so fickle. The reason the slot is on the original charge coil was to allow adjustment of the air gap to the magnets using a special tool ring that very few people have. But it looks like yours worked out well anyway. Best of luck with the rectifier. Like yours mines has the OMC 2 stroke engine also as I don’t want to give up on the hydrostats turning 5500/5900 RPM.
