Sharjah aims to become the first city to roll-out high-speed skypod transport

Plans are underway to roll out a high-speed skypod transport system for passengers and cargo in Sharjah. The suspended transport system, which involves the movement of driverless pods on “strings" - which are a bundle of tensioned steel tracks attached on concrete supports - is being tested at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park).
The suspended transport system is different from the conventional pulley system of cable cars or aerial trams, which continuously move and circulate around two terminal stations at a speed between 10 to 20 km per hour. Sky pods are connected to high-tensioned steel wire and move back and forth independently.
The uCar (passenger sky pod) that can carry up to four passengers runs on 400-metre test track at SRTI Park at a speed of up to 50km per hour. A longer 2.4km string-rail system will be completed between October to November this year and the driverless hanging electric pod will be tested to run up to 150km per hour.

Nice, but you can see that at the pillers the track goes up and down. (And has a parabola shape between the pillers.) I doubt if it can do 150 kph on a bump like that.

You don't have to be an engineer to understand that this is the most ideal form of transport! both for passenger transport and for freight transport super efficient! This technology is ecologically super green, safe, cheap to purchase, and requires almost no land to build! Also economically speaking large transport companies and passenger transport companies can earn extremely well from this if they invest in this technology.

Really? How so? Makes me think you are not engineer from your statements. No basis for saying such claims. First, It can carry less passenger than metro per unit time. How is that efficient? You want efficient transport? Try the tested and proven railway system. Carries tons of cargo and people in no time. No one needs 500kph if you carry 4-8 passengers at a time.

Wasn’t the basic technology already verified at the Skyway EcoTechnoPark in Belarus?
Why did Skyway need to build another test facility?
