Awesome video Sandeep Bhai. @22:50 one more point for interview point of view, for low flow service PD pumps are better than CF pumps as in low flow, velocity will be very less hence CF pump's impeller will not be able to through the liquid out and liquid will be in the circulation inside the pump casing.
Dear sir Sir apne mention kiya ki we use diaphragm pump for chemical dosing and as far I know ki diaphragm consist of hard rubber like material toa if chemical dosing is done via diaphragm pump diaphragm membrane kharap hone k chances nai hai kya?
For corrosive chemicals, diaphragm resistance is better than any metal due to its polymer construction. For toxic chemicals, the diaphragm pump reduces the possibility of leakage from piston-cylinder clearances. Therefore They are best for dosing toxic and corrosive chemicals.
For slurry diaphragm pump is not good. I have discussed in this video. Please go through this video to know the reason. Centrifugal pump is used for slurry.
