How Bryan didn't get nominated for his role in The Joker is mind-boggling! His performance was absolutely groundbreaking! This is the biggest snub in Oscar history.

He was obviously playing a character that was not gay and did fantasize about women, and who was a weird guy living with his mom with no male role models. The only masculine interactions he had in the movie were with the other clowns and those interactions were all based around advancing his career in show biz (comedy/acting).
Tldr a straight autistic incel living with mom trying to create a career in show biz in a big city could very well sound like Joaquin does in this movie.
Also the most simple explanation for joaquins voice is that he was *ACTING A PART*

Once Upon A Time is one of the best films I have seen in the last 20 years.....I kept rewatching it and loved everything about it.

The music alone, as being truly sourced to the point of having the commercials of that year playing. The cathartic affect the end had on me was crazy.....however, I have friends that argue against it and that is fine. I love the film, plain and simple. I love BASTERDS but not on the same level. Actually, JACKIE BROWN was always my favorite Tarantino flick with PULP FICTION being his most important.

Re: fat shaming. My friends two nephews are 14 and 12. The two of them already have high cholesterol and elevated blood pressure. I know it's not my place but I went to Disneyland with them and at lunch the one kid would only eat chicken nuggets. Since that wasn't an option he ate 5 mini bags of cookies and a Gatorade they brought. As a diabetic all I see is the sugar contents. He ate 200 grams of sugar in 20 mins. So I called it out to his mom. Then she mentioned the health shit. So I made it a point to say it so they could hear to tell her that by 30 the two of them will have already had heart attacks and have diabetes by college if not sooner. I didnt feel bad about. Sometimes it has be said.
