Both Randy and I were sorry to miss your, as you call them, "amateur parties" I personally think they are wonderful and filled with fans that love music. My thanks for Mr. Cross, to whom I am grateful for his support of me. throw parties and love music and stop hating so much. Music is so very special... isn't that enough?

@LohengrinT People compare her to Tebaldi ( as her "successor" .. well I consider her , her "superior" as she is just fabulous ... her voice developed the way it should have , for its type.. Tebaldi on a good day could never equal this And she has added the EFlat, in the Triumphal scene. Her Trovatore,( studio recording) is sooooo good.. I treasure mine.. Not since Callas have I heard Leonora interpreted with such vocalism, and drama.
Il n'est pas très sérieux de faire passer Millo pour un lyrique colorature! ici elle allège son émission pour négocier correctement la vocalisation (mais les piqués lui coutent!). Le résultat est, malgrés ces concssions, assez remarquable et le suraigu (très facultatif) conclusif osé mais gagnant!. Bel investissement mélodique!

Great singing by Millo! Pity she and Dessi didn't focus on this repertoire more. They both moved on to the heavy dramatic parts too soon. Millo should be proud though, hehe. Callas fans here say she was better than Tebaldi, Tebaldi fans say she was better than Callas. Listen to her wonderful Pirata, Leonora, Aida, all far superior to Callas' uneven singing.

mariano barbieri I know may Dramatic sopranos who have notes above high D! Range is different from tessitura. They almost usually have the range...but not the tessitura. They can sing the notes above high D just like a coloratura but they can’t stay therefor very long! And she is NOT a lyric coloratura!!!! 😂😂 like c’mon man!

There were some Eb in Aida and perhaps Pirata as well, a coloratura she wasn't, but a gorgeous voice no one can argue ab out that!

Yes, high E definitely flat and about to crack, but overall an excellent performance

Adelina Patti (Aida)! Luisa Tetrazzini and Joan Sutherland (Leonora)! Not to mention Callas (ask of these times you have mentioned)!!!!!!!!

The high E was a bit flat but she did a better job than most sopranos.
