But "consistent with Russian disinfo" can be anything that is damaging to any given Party or person - any story or incident or accusation or innuendo that is damaging to someone Russians supposedly don't like, can be "consistent" with "something a Russian agent could or would do".
This statement literally says NOTHING about whether or not Russia DID anything or how likely it is that they DID anything, but only says the incident is "consistent" with something a hypothetical foreign disinfo agent COULD theoretically do" .
And this is technically TRUE. A laptop full of info damaging to the Bidens IS something such a hypothetical pro-Trump agent COULD do. Right?
