This is a great video on multiple levels ! Thank you for doing this. I need constant reminders that a perfect outcome isn't the point. ; PROCESS is. I completely agree with what you said about the use of the large brush, too !
Thank you for your beautiful feedback! I appreciate the lovely words. I’m always reminding myself of the same concept and I’m glad you find it helpful!
great video, beautiful paintings! i especially love that light pink poppy : ) sometimes i get out my beginner junky watercolors and my cheapo paper and paint "terribly" without worry. it really does give me more confidence to do the same with my more expensive stuff and benefits how good i paint too. it helps loosen me up if i do it before working on something i want to come out "good" too. its a great way to experiment & test out ideas as well
I like what you said about using the cheap stuff to create something that you don’t really care about. It really does take the pressure off and that is beautiful.
Please don't quit, but I totally understand what you mean. I've had to step back and take breaks here and there when my self-doubt gets the best of me and that has helped a lot. If quitting is the best option for you right now, I get it. I also think that maybe your brain just needs a break to let the pressure off and if you want to continue, you'll know when you're ready :) Hugs to you!
I needed to hear this! Thank you thank you thank you❤ i just found you and recently picked up my brushes again after 3 years break while, well, life! Anyway, what is the reference book you have?
Diane, I’m so glad this was helpful information for you to hear! And congratulations on painting after three years. It must feel good to get back at it. This is my beloved book: Flower color guide: amzn.to/46X1iSY

I needed this. Lately I have been so depressed about my art that I have been thinking about quitting.

I understand too and I am just giving myself that opportunity to play and make art and not focusing on the end result ❤❤❤
No. Because art is healing. Don’t quit healing. 🙏🏻😌

I love how much watercolor that palette holds can the pans be removed? Thank you so much for the link to this video! Love and Light to you
Yes they can! You can pop them out and change them out for something else or clean them etc.

Thank you! Is your copy hardcover? I'm only finding it paperback.
@@dianemartin9494 it is paperback.
Most of my paintings are shit. But the next day I am out there again to mess it up. I don't like perfect. I am at Ugly. Or Tacky. ❤
