Well, TBF, they were both quite young at the time that idol came out. Clay was only 24, as was Ruben. People’s looks can change as they age. They are both now in their mid to late 40’s.
I have always been a big fan of Clay but do like Rueben and his beautiful voice. I admire Ruben and Clay’s wonderful friendship. Wish the would come to Las Vegas and perform.

Love these guys! 🩷And truthfully, I love the early years of American Idol much more than I like it now. There’s a lack of professionalism in it now from the judges. In the day, Paula and Simon and Randy Jackson would’ve never told a first time auditioner “You’re going to be in the Top 10”! (Katy Perry!) How ridiculous and how unprofessional! And I cannot hardly watch American Idol since there’s so much shenanigans! It’s just not the same. What a shame!

Just saw them in Portland, OR. Fabulous show! Wonderful voices, and they really have fun on stage. Great backup singer and band too.
