Alarka Freight

Having opened the Alarka branch and agreed contracts with several industries there, the first train of freight is ready to depart East Whittier. To operate the Alarka industries I purchased the S-51 0-8-0 switcher, a small but powerful loco that should cope well with the steep grades to the copper mines and where high speed is not necessary. This video is a few clips of the train starting out on its journey and arriving at Bryson yard at the half way point of its journey.
