How to get to Fushimi Inari Shrine from Kyoto Station.
Fushimi Inari Shrine, which has been chosen as Kyoto's most popular tourist spot, is famous for its 1,000 torii gates (now that number has increased to about 10,000!). It has a history of 1300 years, and the main shrine is designated as an important cultural property of Japan. It is also a popular photo spot, and the grounds have a beautiful vermilion torii gate, souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Access: 2 stations from JR Kyoto Station.
As of 2024, there is no admission fee and it is open 24 hours a day (prayers and shops within the precincts have different business hours).
It's very crowded during the day, so if you want to take beautiful photos, we recommend coming early in the morning or at night when it's lit up.

京都の人気観光No.１スポットに選ばれたことのある伏見稲荷神社は１０００本鳥居で有名です（今では増えて約10000本！）。1300年の歴史があり、本殿は日本の重要文化財に指定されています。撮影スポットとしても人気で境内には美しい朱色の鳥居、お土産屋、カフェ、レストランがあります。
アクセスはJR京都駅から２駅。
2024年現在、拝観料は無料、２４時間営業です（ ご祈祷や境内のお店の営業時間は異なります ）。
昼間は大変混雑しているので、美しい写真を撮りたいなら早朝かライトアップされた夜がおすすめです。
