I listened to hip hop since the 80’s, it used to be about positivity, then gangsta rap took over in the 90’s, then bling in the 2000’s. it slowly crawled away from what it was. I look at it now it’s mumble rap and all the guys are grown successful men that I think kept it real for their own life experience. Why compare each other all different experiences. Everyone in rap acts gangsta. Still neither of them grown enough to not do diss tracks. What is the purpose? It’s full of negativity.
