Did you have to do anything special to get the Chessnet to connect to Windows via Bluetooth? I can't get it to connect properly. My computer does support Bluetooth LE.
Hello! Could you please record an explanation video: two real people (or one person, playing white with the left hand and black with the right hand) are playing chess with Dgt's electronic chessboard. Can you connect the chess game you are playing to the computer? After that, the chess game screen or real-time game information can be imported into a certain chess website or chess Ai to see the Ai's evaluation of a certain move they are playing (good chess, bad chess, single exclamation mark, double exclamation mark, single question mark, double question mark, and the + - score bar of the black and white square, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down), which can very intuitively let users see whether each move in the game they are currently playing is good or not, and if not, then the correct move is where to play (click the mouse, A series of follow-up changes can come out). Can you achieve it? Looking forward to your explanation video, thank you.
My computer is not near where I use my Air. But I like this app because of the tournament fix. Will this app also work with Chrome on Android?? You only mentioned PCs, but the author mentioned Android, and that perked up my ears.... and got me interested. Please let it work with Android.....
@@chessnoob64 What a shame! It is useless to me then. Let us know if he ever expands support to Android. I wonder why he mentioned Android??? Or maybe it was just that I heard what I wanted to hear.

@@pawnslinger1 When I mentioned Android I was referring to the original app from Chessnut. Chessconnect itself does not work with Chrome on Anddroid because it does not support extensions. According to a quick Google search, there are other browsers like Kiwi or Yandex that do. But I did not test Chessconnect on these browsers. It may or may not work. If you care to give it a go, I would be happy to hear, how it went.
I have a question, does the audio for the move being played come from your computer or the board? Also I noticed the light indication on the board is green on your chessnut pro board, is that new? Because mine is red.
The audio comes from the computer speakers. This is why I prefer the audio prompt to be off, because I hear the default sounds from chess.com on the browser anyway from the speakers when using this set up. As for the light indicators, I had to look at my video again! With the default Chessnut App, the LEDs are RED. However, I noticed that using Chessconnect, it seems to indicate the opponent's move with the source square in GREEN, and the destination square in RED. I remembered on a forum post quite a while ago a Chessnut rep mentioned that the Chessnut PRO actually had multicolour LEDs. It must be the case that the default Chessnut App simply doesn't make use of this!
@chessnoob64 thanks a lot ! What about if you are playing and connecting the board with your phone ?? Is the chessnut app allows any delay for the move or there is another way to do so ?
It seems to work for most people. It's under active development and the author is very response to comments and helping people with problems on the chess.com forum thread here: www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/chessconnect-a-chrome-extension-for-chessnut-air-and-chessnut-pro-smartboards
Very nice extension.I wish the beep was more low tone. Voice is acceptable.
The beep is quite loud!
Good idea. I will include a choice of beep sounds in the next version. 👍
Wow~! Works perfect!! Thank you so much for this great video! :D
You're welcome!
Would be fine to have the extension for Lichess 🙂
More Boards support would be great. SOP/DGT/Millennium. Great Video.
Nice find, I wonder if this can work for other chessboards like chessup or Square off

No, I didn't have to do anything special.
I'm having the same problem. It starts up, have the gui but no way to connect. It's no big deal because I usually use it for my phone.
Hi your demonstration is for windows people. Could you make a demonstration for apple computer IMAC. Thank you
I don't own a Mac. However, as it runs on Chrome, the process will largely look the same.
@@chessnoob64 No, it is not working for USB connexion for Pegasus chessboard !

Is these working fine with Chessnut air ? I mean the sliding piece ? it's the red flag for me before buying the Chessnut air :(
It works fine. As for sliding pieces, you'd just need to set an appropriate delay.
@chessnoob64 thanks a lot ! What about if you are playing and connecting the board with your phone ?? Is the chessnut app allows any delay for the move or there is another way to do so ?
@@lahlouamine Yes, I think the most recent versions of the phone app has the delay feature as well.
hi, would the chessconnect work with the evo ? or is it not needed on the evo ? kind regards Dennis Bourne.
I don't think it works on the EVO, and it also wouldn't be necessary.
thank you so much.@@chessnoob64
is it working with a cable ?
It depends on the platform and board. See the compatibility chart here chessconnect.de/
Its not working
