Im from Mizoram and was active member of mnf (Mizoram national front) . I met this mr yanthan in Amsterdam in 80s and also visited him in his village in 2008 but sadly he didn't remember me he was suffering from old age ailments. I respect and appreciate his sacrifice and will always remember him all my life.

During the war between Naga army and the Indian occupational forces atrocities towards the Nagas, Our parents told us that the Naga armies used to go to East Pakistan via Mizoram many times to get arms and training, on their way the Mizo people help and support the NNC a lot when the struggle for Naga freedom movement was so crucial for survival of the Naga people so we'll never forget the Mizo brothers for their help and support when Naga army was in desperate times and we're very much thankful for that. We'll always live as brothers, God bless Mizo people 🫡👏👏👏👍

Khodao yanthan "He was popularly called, “the grand old man of Naga political struggle”
In London, Khodao and Phizo worked towards informing people about the Naga situation and urged them to get involved. This included writing to newspapers. People he worked with included David Astor, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and bishop David Jenkins. Abraham Lotha writes, "For Khodao and the leaders, the ideas of independence and sovereignty are interchangeable. 'The Nagas are NOT demanding an independence from the British-made India. Nagas are defending their independence from India.' This was his mantra throughout his life.
His grave should be honoured as AZ phizo 🙏
Please don't mention phizo the betrayer of naga national name here ..your leader himself left nnc coz of phizo betrayal to nagas by signing shillong accord 1975 and joined NSCN isak/muivah the real fighter of naga nationalism...your little knowledge proves that you're blindly giving credits to phizo(please don't give any counter back your rights about your comment coz your comment already prove your ignorance) so brother please know the depth and don't mentioned the name of phizo who sold naga rights through the 'shillong accord'.

Yeah true .Even Imkongmeren who was the vice president . Phizo fled to London after that it was Imkongmeren who suffered the most . His wife died under the hands of Indian army and one of his son killed by joint forces of Indian and Burmese army. Late Imkongmeren who was once the richest man in Nagaland sacrificed everything for the Naga cause.

But don't get me wrong because I don't hate the people of west bengal, in fact I've a soft corner for the street kids of Calcutta! My sisters are running a charity house that provides food and shelter to the street kids and education as well! I've involved myself quite a few times, lived with the kids and fed them food myself!
