Never had Telfar either until now but I got the large in black and medium in pink and I cut the straps off both. Love the bags, planning to use for summer and travel.
My large brown Melissa bag came in yesterday. I do love it. Planning to use it for travel. I use Telfar’s puffer bag for travel as well. The only concern is it is indeed heavy. 😬 Adding my water bottle, snacks, and travel necessities will only make it heavier.
Tfs. The brown one in your thumbnail is what drew my attention. Like someone else stated, I'm also not in the market for a big clear bag but I might buy that one as my first Telfar purchase.

My brown medium jelly tote was delivered on Friday, along with the clear sandals (I also have the clear small jelly tote). I too never sought to invest in their vegan bags. Telfar was the brand that I prayed would come out with a clear bag (& tweeted them!). From I saw their vegan bag, I saw that they had the potential of making a jelly bag. Little would we know that they were working on it!
I really think the bags are very pretty, I am loving the black version, I may bite the bullet & order it, by the way, I looked on the website & it says returning purchases is easy 👍🏾
I totally agree! I got mine on Selfridges and it was a little less expensive. I have the Selfridges annual shipping so I don’t have to pay for shipping. That made it make sense for me.
I recently bought a Telfar for the first time too. I got it in my college color, blue. It's ok...the price for pleather was a bit much for me. I got the medium. I think they sell a patent leather bag....that would be my next choice if I purchase again.
My Mom and I both got the medium clear bag. I love mine but she didn't like hers. The smell was strong in the beginning but it has subsided. I don't like the long straps on the bags even though they are handy on occasion.
I was never into Telfar as well. Though this bag in the brown has intrigued me. Thank you for doing the size and fit comparison.

Yes, I carried the large one the other day to see how it was and it is pretty heavy!

Yeah, I hate paying those prices for pleather. Although I didn’t mind paying it for pvc 🤔 😂

Maybe one day they will switch the straps up. 🤷🏽♀️ They are kind of annoying, but at least in the larger bags, they can be tucked in.
Do you think the large can be a little overnight bag for clothes and toiletries?
Yes! It’s heavy though so now I wouldn’t actually take it on an airplane!
