This is something that I thought while I was trying to sleep which might be OP, what if you build or somehow got to the roof of a werehouse from the outside and you use the elevator to go to the floor with the loot, so that you don't need to go through 2-3 floors of fighting? Plz like this so that Scrapman sees it!
also maybe the same idea but to get the greenies to go in the discombobulator like make a corridor and then a pusher with bearings and stuff to push them up and over

Um, Squid tried that and it just stole his warehouse key when he went to the elevator, Just FYI. But a flyer is really helpful as I've learned from my playthrough though, so still good job!
I tried it today, then I found that it's impossible to get in the warehouse through the roof.. I tried using scripts to remove the doors, but the button of the elevator didn't work either so yeah.. It's impossible for now
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, and you may have already changed the setup, as I'm only up to this video and there's a few that I haven't watched yet, but if you place one of the larger chests on your mad max vehicle and match it to the top input of the spud ammo canister it will auto fill the canister as you use up the ammo in the gun without having to refill it manually. great videos keep up the awesome content.

The one thing i really like in survival is fuel-less vehicles. You could try to build the fastest controller or piston engine powered vehicle (im planning to do that myself). Could try to build an underwater vehicle for farming. Another way to kill farmbots that wouldnt require ammo - like a car that has a crusher, or killing them with saws or drills that would move quickly.
Scrapman capture a load of woks, attach some corn to arms on bearings that spin so the woks constantly chase them. Then have a big row of infinitely chasing woks in front of the base to distract the Haybots while you shoot them!
I suggest making the catwalk hang out a bit with a small hole in the bottom to shoot through. These are called machiculations and were used in real castles.
hi scrapman the wall that you inspected in there are the encripters . you can blow those up using canisters. infact if you can detach anything from the warehouse, you can hammer it to the top and then pick it up
I think the crusher is good for small(~5x5) separate farms where you have a bunch of small farms in the same area. I'd love to see an automated metal farm, where you use the haybot legs as a source of metal
I had a thought, but I don't know what your resources are like... perhaps rather than having to turn it on and off... (I would still keep the switches so you can deactivate it completely) but run it with sensors... so that when they get up on the edge it arms and starts bouncing them around. Really cool trap though, will have to give it a try at some point!
For a door you should use a sensor directly behind a block and put the sensor on color mode so you have to paint the block a certain color and look it up or an xor gate so you can close it from the inside. Have the sensor turn on a controller which opens a front door if the block in front of the sensor is painted a certain color.
You could make a section of the wall that pivots on some bearings. It would work similar to a roll up garage door. Two switches, a controller, and a bit of time and you'd have a functioning front door that you can activate from both sides. Not sure if it would be secure for entering during a raid though.
Hey scrapman do you remember the thing you did in the spudgan powered vehicles? Where you put wall infront of the spudgun, try to that mechanism with the water cannons, if that work then finally you're gonna build a working boat/raft Like so scrapman sees
for a way into it you could put a part in the center of the front wall on bearings and have it fold down to make a bridge in. could also crush when it folds down
Multiplayer idea... Chances are that Multiplayer will have multiple modes to it... There will most likely be a co-op, but there just might be a vs mode... Perhaps a raid mode as well. Get the bot heads to the front lower section of your extended wall, the entire length... Get a switch connected to all of them and a switch to kill the outside fortress lights, maybe even the inside lights as well... It's not really a defense but a confusion tactic. While the other team is working on their base and trying to figure out your defenses, you plant an entire crop, activating the timer for the bot raid. When they start to come in on the farm, flip the switch for the bot heads to light up. They'll think you managed to some how get a bot army defending... HOPEFULLY, if timed right, as they charge in, the timer will run out and the bot raid will roll in on them while their busy dodging your shots, perhaps they'll be dodging tape bot shots as well... ;) My enemy's enemy.... LOL!!! THAT IS IF they add a vs mode in the survival section... HOPEFULLY!!! LOL!
Ideas for scrapman _ build a platform of wheels on an angle outside your farm so when you step on it it launches you to your farm ( or use it to launch farm bots away ) _ use the ramps from the roof of big warehouses instead of wooden stairs
Until you get the ramps, fill in under the stair steps. That way two blocks removed will not remove an entire riser. And maybe place an ammo chest at each corner of the upper floor just in case you "oops" and start without enough ammo in your inventory.
I have an idea you need to try that my friend did really well with, step one is make a small plus sign made of metal attached to a bearing, after that make a lot of them and make them FACE FORWARD almost like it's a wheat harvester, it works really well and if you make the setup right it uses very little gas (maybe like 1 can per 2 raids)
PLEASE READ THIS AND TRY THIS OUT, I THINK IT COULD BE VERY USEFUL!! Scrapman, you could potentially set up a defense of water cannons and use them in raids to short circuit the robots. Since the water buckets short circuit the robots for a little bit, if you have a line of water cannons facing outward, you could short circuit all the robots. Also, you could potentially have a mounted water cannon somehow and turn it to shoot at the incoming robots.

The notches in the wall to fire through are called "crenellations". The whole crenellated wall with platform to walk on may be called a "battlement."

Hey scrapman do you remember the thing you did in the spudgan powered vehicles? Where you put wall infront of the spudgun, try to that mechanism with the water cannons, if that work then finally you're gonna build a working boat/raft

for a way into it you could put a part in the center of the front wall on bearings and have it fold down to make a bridge in. could also crush when it folds down
Multiplayer idea... Chances are that Multiplayer will have multiple modes to it... There will most likely be a co-op, but there just might be a vs mode... Perhaps a raid mode as well. Get the bot heads to the front lower section of your extended wall, the entire length... Get a switch connected to all of them and a switch to kill the outside fortress lights, maybe even the inside lights as well... It's not really a defense but a confusion tactic. While the other team is working on their base and trying to figure out your defenses, you plant an entire crop, activating the timer for the bot raid. When they start to come in on the farm, flip the switch for the bot heads to light up. They'll think you managed to some how get a bot army defending... HOPEFULLY, if timed right, as they charge in, the timer will run out and the bot raid will roll in on them while their busy dodging your shots, perhaps they'll be dodging tape bot shots as well... ;) My enemy's enemy.... LOL!!!
THAT IS IF they add a vs mode in the survival section... HOPEFULLY!!! LOL!
Ideas for scrapman
_ build a platform of wheels on an angle outside your farm so when you step on it it launches you to your farm ( or use it to launch farm bots away )
_ use the ramps from the roof of big warehouses instead of wooden stairs
I would love an episode where you build a cool looking base. Like a house or garage. That'd be cool.
Until you get the ramps, fill in under the stair steps. That way two blocks removed will not remove an entire riser. And maybe place an ammo chest at each corner of the upper floor just in case you "oops" and start without enough ammo in your inventory.
You can build a "draw bridge" gate. Have a part of the wall rotate down on bearings and back up
I have an idea you need to try that my friend did really well with, step one is make a small plus sign made of metal attached to a bearing, after that make a lot of them and make them FACE FORWARD almost like it's a wheat harvester, it works really well and if you make the setup right it uses very little gas (maybe like 1 can per 2 raids)
I suggest to make your defense a long wall from shore to shore , so you can focus on the front only , just a suggestion :)
tip on the warehouse, just take a shitton of wood/rock and build your way up the roof, skip the whole inside :D

Scrapman, you could potentially set up a defense of water cannons and use them in raids to short circuit the robots. Since the water buckets short circuit the robots for a little bit, if you have a line of water cannons facing outward, you could short circuit all the robots. Also, you could potentially have a mounted water cannon somehow and turn it to shoot at the incoming robots.
