I really love this drama especially the main characters, the female lead is strong willed, straightforward, and dedicated to things she love while the male lead is such a good listener, understanding and very considerate. The only downside of this drama is that it's so frustrating that it took so long before the two of them were able to confess their feelings for each other. Nonetheless, I really appreciate how they portrayed their friendship and love, that's something that is hard to find in real life. In conclusion though, this is a good drama. Until now, I'm still hoping Adachi Rika (Yo) and Shirasu Jin (Ren) will have another drama together, their chemistry is just so strong, it felt real and natural.
Japanese dramas are usually just 10 episodes so I get your frustration. Idk why they had to stretch the thin plot to 16 eps. But I still loved this drama. ML is my ideal man -- kind, attentive, respectful. And the fact that they are best friends is a huge plus!

( or maybe the person hasn't seen much of the strong willed female characters in Asian/ Japanese drama and it is the first time they are watching it this way)😊 Either way, I personally believe that if the characters are not shallow-hearted ( be it the male/ female lead), the story's romance lies in the script and direction... We have a lot of shows where the male lead is a strong, determined one and the female lead is typically meaker than the male lead despite her own strengths...so, this show is new in sight with this respect.
I'm so happy to find jdorama in YT. I remember Jdorama was a huge in 90s era and was the root of all asian dramas at that time, other countries drama were like followers to it after that..imo I grew up by watching Tokyo Love Story in that era haha.. Please make jdorama hits again & make it easy to watch or stream it 🙏🤗

OMG I LOVED THIS DORAMA! It’s a remake of the Taiwanese drama “In Time With You” (2011). This is definitely not your average cringeworthy dorama. It’s 100x better. The leads have good chemistry as well. Not to mention, the male lead has such a cute smile and those cheekbones? Swoon. The female lead is admirable, and is a headstrong character you’ll also fall in love with her. I’d say this is one of my favorite dramas because it REALLY is good. A must watch if you’re into the (slow burn) friends to lovers romcom genre.
Is In Time with You recommended to watch too? I really like this type of genre and theme, do you have any recommendation similar to this drama? I'm here for the second watch lol

Not for my Japanese tho, as I didn’t watch many Japanese dramas 😅 but for Korean dramas, it’s been some time already that I can watch dramas and shows without English subtitles and there will be only some *words that I won’t get. So I guess google is right dramas/movies and shows help 😆
This is freaking good drama.... I seriously loved it. Its bitter yet sweet. Man the friendship between the leads is so kawaiii... n the guy is super 👌 caring. I give 9.5/10.

@@srainy Yes am glad that jdorama is popular again. I remember in 90s Jdorama was so huge compare to kdrama.. But since Japan was very strict about things related to copyright and that made their jdorama was less popular than kdrama.. Although imo truthfully jdorama was started it all, and others are only like follower to it now🤗

'Seirei no Moribito' is also worthy of watching. There are 3 seasons in total. For me, I prefer watching this rather than watching the drama that involve cute, shy and weak female lead and a popular male lead which can be seen mostly in school drama. If u wanna watch good japanese drama or movies, U can watch the ones from many years ago.

Same plot as the Chinese drama Single Collection (which I can't find on RUclips anymore). DNF but it was pretty good as far as I got. I have high hopes from this one. The Japanese alway makes the most deep and emotions pieces.
I watched this a while ago. Great chemistry bt the leads. It did get kinda frustrating in the middle epis. But overall, it was very true to the taiwanese/korean version. Same plot just different storyline.
