Not sure if the folks who did the documentary are like NBC news or something, but they were off the charts great at making videos that make people fall in love with this band. I'd give anything to have camera shots and interview footage of me and my friends when we were doing fun stuff in the past, if only to have so I could look back on it and remember those times exactly as they were. KUDOS to the producers of the documentary! Fantastic job!
Scott Russell Thanks Scott. We're a nonprofit organization called Weathervane Music. The song was recorded for our series Shaking Through (it's NOT the version on their record - it's actually the original recorded about two years earlier). You should watch the other episodes... there are 6 years worth! Anyway, part of what we do beyond the videos is make raw tracks, mix stems, drum samples etc. available for our members to download, remix and share back on the site. It's a very cool program. I'd love it if youd check it out and let me know what you think.
I will without a doubt. My daughter is 21 and has been writing songs and writing her own music since age 13. She plays guitar and sings and she's now formed a band (about a year ago) with a high school friend, and two mutual friends of theirs. Her (and eventually they're) creative process took place in my living room over the last few years and reminds me a LOT of the other two videos in the Sister Cities trio of videos. It's been a joy and a privilege to watch them create, and grow as musicians. Every parent who loves music should be so lucky. Thanks for the comment, and I'll check it out and pass it along to them as well. It's an awesome thing you are doing BTW. Kudos to you!
Her voice is absolutely outrageous, I love the song.

I hope you guys do well! I like the energy!
That voice...
this makes me wish I had properly pursued a career in music, instead of doing it in a half-arsed way, and not being very good, and giving up
