Bro learn how the price delivery algorithm seeks liquidity, then you'll understand where the price wants to go. ICT lessons are very long and hard to concentrate on but these channels break them down and explain crystal clear with examples. So check out their contents as well: Smart Risk, TTrades, Mulham Trading are all great and concise channels. Also follow Casper SMC (smart money concepts). Good luck with your trading. And don't forget that if you risk 1% and flip a coin against the market with a 1:2 RR rate, it's mathematically impossible for you to lose in day trading. Good traders apply the Casinos risk management. Hence they are millionaires like the Casinos. Losing traders apply the gamblers risk management and are broke.

It’s not just about knowing that the market is always changing different states, you always have to change with it to keep up with the pace.
Apparently the market is based on 4 states: Trending state,reversal state,breakout state and a ranging state.

Practice for 1 year on the demo account and then, when you have self-confidence, act on the real account, trading is much more difficult than you imagine. Hope this helps.

Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

I started learning to trade going on 2 years ago and this is all very true. The market goes through different phases and personalities every day - even within a day - so the opportunities to trade also goes through phases. It takes time to start seeing all of this for yourself. This is why a lot of new traders don't make it. If you are committed no matter how long it takes, it will start to pay off.

In my opinion skipping a day because the market doesn't move in a way to get my strategys entry is the hardest part 😅 I am looking at the market and know that it doesn't make sense for me to trade but I will force my entries... But it slowly gets in my brain, that the struggle is really not worth it. Even if I can make a profit that day I am going through so much more emotion/stress = it's not worth it xD

This happens with smaller accounts. Small accounts we desperate to build them. Consider if we add zeros to the trades. So if we have a $200 account treat it like $200k. So if up $5 it’s the same as being up $5k. Who wouldn’t take profit at $5k for one day? But it’s very hard to take profit on just $5 and be content. That’s why small accounts almost never make it. It’s better imo to paper trade to a great strategy then go take a loan out than it is to trade little accounts and try to be the local hero.

I have no idea what you went through but my friend has come to accept that the only way to remain sane in the markets is mechanical system. No human being will beat the ups and downs of volatility. I'm willing to be wrong but don't think that the big money folks are watching the screens or rely on their emotions go on a roller-coaster with peoples' money. Maybe something to explore.
