Mine has this right now too. I’m worried. We’ve had these for 6 years now. I don’t want to lose them now.

Hello, is that plastic for a water barrier for misting or humidifying your plants ?

This happened to mine and realized it has spider mites I couldn’t see at the bottom of the leaves. Dish wash soap, and 70% alcohol and cut off the dying leaf and it came back strong.

too much water make them yellow, only watering when the soil totally dry up,or plant near wet stream or pond no need to worry about watering.

Way overthinking this. These are not fussy plants so trying to control every part of their biological profile is asking for trouble. Typically it is too much/little water or light. Slow it all down. Hope all is well.

@@836dmar I was growing it in a nutrient deficient soil of peat and perlite.. so they definitely had nutrient issues.

Don't piss on your plants. Your burning the poop out of it ‼️

I’m not 😭 in my experience this does not happen when urea nitrogen is used. Usually urea nitrogen makes taro go black, not burnt leaves with yellowing going into the midrib. I believe it’s a deficiency due to the fact im growing in only peat and perlite.
