Day 5!! (i understand it's day 6 already, but the original render messed up ;;;; so I had to re-render it again real quick). you have absolutely no idea how long this has been in wip hell for LOL. i think i started this like, last year???? and then only now I got around to finishing it???? but i'm really happy with how the scene turned out :]
a lot of inspiration came from this particular Romeo and Cinderella MV: • 【MMD PV】Romeo and Cind... and honestly it inspired me to implement more meaning and symbolism in my videos haha. I think that's what really brings the magic out in a video. Fun fact, roses and apples are part of the same family, and it's basically canon that Akechi is Joker's Eve to his Adam.
I absolutely love this song and I hope I did it justice with the amount of symbolism I can put in. I wanted to illustrate Akechi's struggle with doing what he always wanted to do and getting revenge on Shido or being happy with Joker, thus having a fairytale ending.

Yes! One of my favorite vocaloid songs!
Romeo and Cinderella but in this version the so called pristine prince who looks like an angel only to be tempted with the lust and desire only given to him by the demon Romeo!! Also the lyric part “ She lied that she dropped it accidentally and I will do the same thing” gosh that was akechi unconsciously asking akiren for help is spot on! The glove was the “shoe” akiren needed to pick up as hint to realize akechi’s true feelings and intentions which also explains the first time he open up to him with the “ I hate you” monologue. And by the end “ what I’ve really lost is the golden axe” is akechi finally succumbing to his desire to indulge ren himself hence the apple completely devoured. Nothing is more perfect than these two to explain the story behind the song :3
Ahh yes!! That's basically spot on! I wanted to depict goro as an angel and akira as a demon bc i felt that at first glance that's what they may seem (akira being a phantom thief and goro trying to be "good" and stop them. but they're really just one in the same, and that's why it''s only the wings that are kind of different). BRUH IDK WHAT HAPPENED TO MY REPLY TO THIS,,,, I swear i replied to it when u commented, but RUclips rudely thanos'd it 😔😔😔 But YES, it's been the factory for a whole YEAR so i'm glad i can finally get it out xD I've been having brainworms of Shuake and Romeo and Cinderella ever since shuake week 2020 LOL.
ShuAke is textbook definition of dramatic (that glove scene with Goro absolutely says it all, it's almost like a proposal 🤣🤣🤣💞) ATLUS didn't need to make Adam and Eve symbolism with shuake but they did anyways, which is just so... fruity of them to do LMFAO. I know that Akiren eating the forbidden fruit is not accepting Maruki's reality i'm pretty sure, so I kind of wanted to create a mirror where for Goro's case, it would be throwing away his efforts to get back at his father (even though it's too late for him to really do anything, as he's too far into Shido's conspiracy).
And yes mementos!!! I just rly wanted to make a scene where joker is hovering over crow asdkjhfkjadsf (the tension between 2 rivals 👀) And the bokeh!!! I was going through the render and fixing up some bokeh and i decided to leave that bc it looked so nice
-and of course, the dick shaped microphone- 🤣
