Emotional detachment doesn't mean apathy; it means maintaining inner peace amidst external chaos. These Stoic rules are incredibly valuable. Thank you for sharing!
The way you explained detachment as "reclaiming the remote to your emotions" was brilliant! It’s empowering to realize that our reactions, not external events, shape our well-being. I feel inspired to put these lessons into action.

I must DETACH from my narcissistic husband of 😢7yrs. My 1st marriage his 3rd marriage.(I’m 59 yrs old this month& he is 62 yrs old) I’ve been utilizing DBT skills since 2007 give or take a few months. I am continuing to learn about new DBT skills every year. I have “talk Therapy” every week & she taught me DBT before I hired her as my therapist. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 😊
I'm glad you're finding strength through DBT and therapy. Remember, detaching with compassion and focusing on your well-being is vital. Thanks for sharing your journey. 😊
I love everything about about Stoic King!!! Thank you so so VERY much this channel…. to me, Stoicism, is like Morpheus in the Matrix and Jesus to the Apostles….it is THE RIGHT WAY. THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏻

The idea that 'he who is brave is free' really struck a chord with me. It’s fascinating how Stoicism teaches us that freedom comes from within, not from external validations. How do you guys practice maintaining your inner peace amidst external chaos?
In Stoicism, reclaiming your control is crucial. You can't control others' actions, but you can control your responses. Taking back what you gave shows self-respect and strength. Stay true to your values and find peace in your own actions.
Thank you for sharing this profound thought! Embracing the death of the ego can indeed lead to a beautiful rebirth of self-love. When we let go of our egos, we make space for genuine self-acceptance and compassion. It's a transformative journey that brings us closer to our true selves and fosters a deeper connection with others.
Absolutely, it’s something many of us go through. Just remember, every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger and wiser. Stay positive and keep moving forward! 🌟💪
The concept of emotional detachment as discussed here really resonates with me, especially the part about reclaiming your power. It’s empowering to realize we can control our reactions even if we can’t control external events. Has anyone else found practical ways to apply these Stoic principles in day-to-day life? Would love to hear your stories!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's easy to get caught up in thinking that others have it all together, especially when we only see the highlights of their lives. But you're right, everyone faces their own challenges and struggles, no matter how things appear on the surface. It's important to focus on our own journey and find gratitude in the things we have. Remember, true happiness and fulfillment come from within, not from external circumstances. Keep striving to improve yourself and your mindset, and you'll find that contentment follows. Stay strong!
While you cannot control violence, you can control your response to it. Stay centered, act with wisdom, and maintain your inner peace despite external chaos.
