I really thought this channel was just a random female singer (only 20k subs) and didn't really expected her to be that good. And even now, it still blowd my mind, I've never heard such a good cover of inflames the backtrack is just beautiful and the singing is the best screaming I've ever heard in a cover. And if you have other vocalist that good I please ask you give me all the names because I crave for this kind of song !
I would say with the release of in vertigo they took it up a few pegs. In vertigo is such a killer track and I honestly think that track is better than any song released in the Alyssa era

Awesome cover, especially the vocals. For my part the drums could be a little bit louder. And the guitar could be doubled with slight variations in gain or less volume and a clean boost. That way they get a little bit heavier without becoming to present in the mix. The old In Flames played a lot with multiple layers in the instrument in order to get the melodic mix between guitar and vocals.
One of my favourite songs when I was a teenager and one that has a lot of nostalgic value. Absolutely love this cover. Similar to the original while being its own song. Love the clean background vocals providing the juxtaposition with the harsher vocals too.
I was in high school when Colony came out and I became rapidly addicted to that album and Swedish melodic death in general. 20 years of life and of Metal later things haven't changed and this song still sends shivers down my spine. Beautifully done.
Same feelings here! This was like paying a tribute to my high school years, haha. Although this is from the Clayman album, Colony was a fantastic album as well :)

Haha appreciate that! Verses felt right to sing, closer to my vocal style. But the rest definitely needed the screams! :)
