to dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe, to bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go; to right the unrightable wrong, to love, pure and chaste from afar, to try when your arms are too weary, to reach the unreachable star! this is my quest, to follow that star no matter how hopeless, no matter how far to fight for the right without question or pause, to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause! and i know if i'll only be true to this glorious quest, that my heart will lie peaceful and calm when i'm laid to my rest.
I think this song hits hard knowing red completely disagrees with the dreamer interpretation of the character. Like she doesn’t buy that interpretation but even so on some level she wants to believe it.
I disagree. The song just takes on a different meaning when you view it from the pov of a mentally unwell individual. They're trying to do something that just isn't possible and they're blatantly ignoring reality to their own detriment. The song works either way you view Don Quixote. It can be an inspiration to do what's impossible, or an admonition against setting unrealistic and unobtainable goals.
This hit's different after realizing how Don Quixote is mental health wise
Onwards rocinante! Again and again
This reminds me of a more melancholy version of the Do Rei Mi song from Sound Of Music
I love this song! It's inspiring and motivating while also being calm and reserved. Also, with Red's voice, it enhances the effect even more.
I love this song by itself, but hearing Red sing it makes me so happy!!!
gotta love when your ads are longer than the video itself.

It is really hard to not cheer for Don Quixote with this song.
