My patient's ventilators always sound like a nice breeze to me. I've been a home health nurse for so long, I feel like the sound has been fairly consistent with all of the different types of vents.
Oh, a nice breeze. What an excellent description.
You are honestly amazing, so inspirational❤️❤️
Thank you.
That's somewhat similar although louder than what my concentrator sounds like when it's powered on.
Great. Thanks for sharing.
Is it weird that I find this relaxing? If I listened to this every day’d I’d probably fall asleep. I’m sure you’ve answered this somewhere, but how do you talk while your ventilator is continuously breathing? I have a friend who has a ventilator, and she will continue to talk until her machine inhales for her. Her speech is very choppy sometimes,.
If the conditions are right, I also fall asleep to the sound of my vent. For talking, I still have some muscle strength in my breathing muscles. I can talk-over my ventilator. Meaning, I can re-direct the air in my airway and speak even if the ventilator is inhaling. When I get tired, I lose this ability, and then I can only speak when the ventilator exhales.
Hi!
What would happen to the breath rate if you were to be exercising?
Hello. It would increase.
Does pulmonary fibrosis damaged both of lungs or one lung.
Thank you for your question. Please ask your doctor. He/she should be able to answer your question.
Hi, have you ever experienced swelling on your neck and inside your mouth with tracheostomy ?
No I have not.
