Dude, I bought your Content Creators course, I just want to say thank you man. Such a gold mine of gold nuggets of information and to see your raw uncut workflow has really given me insight and the tools and mindset to lay my own stuff down that actually sounds decent. As a bonus it is refreshing to see long form content from someone Ive been following for years. Thanks again man and keep doing what you are doing 🤙
I’d be super interested to put this up against the golden age clone that I picked up. I know Caleb from Beartooth mentioned using the WA8000 on the new material.
Hey! I wanted the Golden Age Premier GA-8000 but I wasn't sure about the sound, as there's not much videos/vs videos, so I picked the Manley Ref C. As the GA-8000 owner, can you do a little describe and how happy you are with the mic. I still want to grab the GA-8000, but as I already mentioned, I feel insecure to get it.
@@eddwardmusic haha funny enough, I had a Manley ref c before the GAP. For my voice, it was a no brainer upgrade and I’m still satisfied every time I power it up. Also had an Upton 251 in at the time so I was able to compare all three. It wasn’t a small margin in terms of how much better it worked for me over the other two.
I own the GAP GA-8000 and the WA-8000. The GA is a bit smoother/detailed and less textured sounding than the WA. I don’t have the urge to sell the WA though. Incredible sound for the price.
idk why but i feel like the mid-range and high end of the Neumann has like a cloth on top of it making it sound a bit like dull. The WA-8000 sounds far more clear and punchy, LOVE IT.
How does the WA 8000 compare to the UA sphere modeling C800? Besides having a larger mic locker, what would be the pros/cons with going with the WA over the UA? If you have any experience with the UA of course
The Audio Technica 4060 is an incredible tube mic. Higher build quality than the WARM, and no Chinese components if that is important. Can be found used for around $800.
Im trying to get a mic can yall help me here ? Help me pick 1.Neumann TLM 103 Large-diaphragm 2. Slate Digital VMS ML-1 Modeling Microphone 3. Warm audio wa-8000
The VMS is horrible. It has a resonance around 10khz that makes you go crazy. No matter what you do you can't get rid of it. It makes everything sound thin and harsh
Ive watched a bunch of shootouts between the WA-8000 and the Sony C800 and to my ears, they are too close to ever justify spending the money on the sony. Plus I preferred the sizzle of the Warm over the C800.

What do you think is the better option between the WA 8000 vs the universal audio sphere that mimics the Sony C800? Thanks.
You should definitely compare Telefunken TF29 & WA-8000 because they have similar prices.
Thanks for the vids!!!!
The Sony C80 is also an option. I test drove one, it was very nice but too crispy for the retro sound I wanted.
Hello Ryan Bruce!
Love Your Video’s!
how would u compare this mic to a lauten audio atlantis?
I swear if I close my eyes you sound like Bert kricher 😆🖤🖤🖤
Most importantly, great sounding mic! I got the feeling this going to be a highly sold mic! So glad great gear is cheaper now.
What's the difference between a tube mic and non tube mic?
I've got one of these, it's an excellent workhorse microphone!
This Gentleman can easily do a voice impression from Jesse Dollemore Daily news, youtube lol

Should I use a pre amp or Apollo twin x for my Wa-8000 mic
apollo twin x
8000 sounds more modern .I like it better.
