- (21 Mar 1994) The Dalai Lama made his first visit to Israel on Sunday (20/3) and
was snubbed by the nation's leaders, who reportedly refused to
meet him out of fear of angering China. The exiled Tibetan leader,
spiritual guide for millions of Buddhists, is spending five days
in the country as guest of an Israeli conservation society.

India is blessed to have His Holiness Dalai Lama.... Such a spiritual leader who respect every religion, caste , creed, race, or place.... Tibet is blessed with peace loving people....So their spiritual leader.....I think we Indians are very lucky to have him....We need more leaders like him in the world...🙏🙏🙏🙏

I am a Chinese, I love Dalai Lama, his wisdom is supreme.
Of all religious and spiritual leaders, the Dalai Lama and those of Buddhism in my view tend to be the most compassionate and humanly. I say this as a Catholic.
A real religious leader would always propagate mutual respect and universal love for each other faiths. This is our His Holiness Dalai Lama who never shirk away from expressing his love for each other faiths. We need more religious leaders like him to fix this religiously ailing world.
He is not taking sides, he shows compassion for all people, true leadership is showing what must be done as opposed to finding ways of creating more conflict.
As an Indian I'm feel honoured that India got the opportunity to host him all these days.... Such a great man is rare in modern times... Shatakoti Pronam🙏🙏
The open mindedness and compassion The Dalai Lama has is beyond this dimension. The way he is honoring the Israeli traditions and religious practices is very admirable.

He is real and pure Buddhist monk ,he obey and follow the buddha way on middle path no divide people color ,race and religion believe he alway teachings on humanity and love and inner peace for all living beings.
