Pk is a really misunderstood and underrated character While what he did was horrible, he did it for his kingdom, and no one realizes how horrible he must have felt after sacrificing 99 percent of his children
If only he managed to realize that his “perfect vessel” was not Hollow in the end… It’s almost ironic, the Pale King never thought for a moment that his hollow son‘s one thought was to make his father proud by being the Hollow Knight. It was a Paradoxical Impossibility that even the Pale King couldn’t see until it was too late.

Love the detail like void Corruption from the bug eye music fading as the doors open and the charm half in he’s hands like he was thinking about the queen before he went.
I legit think there's a good anime/show that could be made from HK lore, not from the knight's perspective, but from everything that happened before the knight came to King's pass, the old days where the stagways were open, all the areas had normal friendly bugs, bustling trade and cities, the pale court was just made, all dreamers backstory, Hornet's story, Quirrel's story, HK training montage, everything the PK did and everything that happened that lead to the beginning of the game. There's such a good story to be animated
To an extent, part of the charm of hollow knight is the fact that you're exploring a dying world. Those memories of the past are so special because of the state that the world is already in. There is a melancholic beauty to it, and it's part of what makes the game so memorable to me personally. If we ever get any sort of animated hollow knight project, I'd actually prefer if it takes place at the same time the game takes place. Although I'm not entirely against seeing Hallownest during its glory days. It's just my personal preference, not a sweeping statement :3
Everything looks like it's made of fabric or wood or metal, makes it feel so much more real. And that throne room scene? The tension and apprehension is palpable. That whispering too... So unnerving

3d models are good, fairly simple, look like they are made of clay. Backgrounds are excellent, these glass paintings are the best part in this video. Animations are robotic, slow and just simple. Also the whole video feels stretched at the start, just like the actual game. Loved it nonetheless 7/10

I wonder how the knight feels about the Pale King if we take the version that the knight we play as is not trully hollow edit: my comment was about how if the knight has any opinion about the king, it's probably not the best opinion, because of all the siblings killed for a plan that didn't work
If we take the version of the knight we play as as not truly hollow then the infection is still gonna escape cause that’s what happened to the hollow knight

Dude it took me several days to finish the white palace and when i finally got to the end i was trying to savour the moment so i took the shard before sitting on the throne which triggered me to tp back to my save. I just wanted to enjoy my kingly position for once man wtf 😭
This is so fucking beatiful, i love claymation wish i could make something as beatifull as this, also its so peacefull and calming^^ (when i wrote this i dint finshed watching, and holly shit it made me get goosebumbs when he opens the door to the kings room💀)
