Amazing job with the tutorials! I've mastered the last tutorial Tacos!!.. You knock down as many trees as possible before hitting the ground while eating tacos! Congrats on 10k =)
Very helpful video. Spent hours practicing this stuff and it really paid off. It's my go to for re-centering when I start to feel "off". Anytime someone asks me how to get better I tell them to start here!
That's awesome! Thank you bro! I am glad I could help you and your friends Improve your piloting skills :) If you have any questions on anything, feel free to comment them on this video and I will be happy to answer them :)
As always AWESOME quality commenting and editing!! Ps.: Thanks for helping me get the z11w hanged by the tail ( i was zCptMadness, i guess you remember, empty Zavod server... :P )
Fantastic video - Fantastic tips - it's all about the helis for me in BF, nothing else compares - i'm hooked and the practical help that this video provides has to be a good thing for all levels of ability, thankyou
Amazing mantis, really usefull videos, i've improved a lot in scout helicopters, could you please advise me how to use the viper and those helicopters? Like!!! :)
+Sergio Fernandez Thank you! Thats awesome youre improving your skills in the scout choppers!! I am mainly a scout pilot in bf4 but I had my days of flying the attack helicopter mostly while playing bf3. :) Go check out @PSXNetYarose for pro attack helicopter game play! :)
I figured all those tactics out naturally all by my self over 2 years of gameplay. One thing i still do fail at is when i try to cover large open spaces in the map, i am basically doomed to be shot down by a tank or a rpg - always happens to me in larger maps like Silk Road and Golmud.
+Ibrahim Brawler That's cool bro. This is my practice method, kinda how I warm up. Somethings are unavoidable, I stick to maps w/ good cover. Have fun on the battlefield. Thank you for watching. :)
+FEARLESSMANTISS Its doesn't work as well as the Littlebird, but you can do it with the z11, you just got to avoid the tail from hitting :) all the force has to be on the skids :)
+A Brave Llama Llama Keep the helicopter steady line up the skids so the tail fins of the uav is against your against them :) Watch how I line it up in the video :)
this is a very helpful video plus your one hell of a pilot. Also was wondering what your heli stick and heli button layout is?? keep up the good work man!
Thanks for great tips, It's realy helping. I'm getting good kill streaks in the choppi. I'm also starting to learn how to fly through buildings, and I did my first barrel roll today. lol.
+Ynotillgiveyoumyname I am glad I can help you improve your flying!! Stunt piloting is lots of fun!! Thank you for watching! :) If you have any questions let me know :) Id be happy to answer them :)
Nice work bro. I've spent 500+ hours in the scout. I know all these moves, it's cool knowing what they are called now. If you spend a lot of time in the scouts, all these moves become second nature. I don't even think about them no more I just do them when farming kills
Thanks Bro! If you're just farming kills it doesn't matter as much, you can learn the basics and leave it at that. But I would say knowing what each maneuver is called and how many different ways you can use it, you can better know which ones works best for different scenarios and be much more tactical in your strategies, instead of relying on impulse or second nature :) For me preforming the maneuvers is second nature but how I use them is not ..as I am a stunt pilot and agility is my main focus and I try to push these maneuvers to the limits :) Thank you for watching!
OMG 2 about a few hours ago i was wondering is there a chance for a few tips from Mantis ..holly birds of prey!!! -a full tutorial U R SUPERAWESOME!!! I like ur combat videos as well U R like angel of death among mortals on battlefield, clase dude!!! going back 2 test range now ;-),thanx bud!! subscribed!!
Amazing vidioe! I've watched all of your vids like 15 times now, quess i'm a fan boyy xD your vids are really helpfull! '-' I hope i'll meet you on the battlefield. And try play with or against you! :) Keep up the amazing work btw! You're the best battlefield player/youtuber i've seen to this date, and i hope you Will get more uploads in the future! :)
you forgot about the tree turning you need to rame into a tree with the weapons rack (idk how 2 call it) mainly on the missile side then your heli will turn 180degre that (it really works its not a jock)
+Onecrazed Child Using loops and rolls to lose altitude is very effective, but only on large open maps like Gulmud Railway, Silk Road, and Paracel Storm. Controlled dives/cork screws can be done on all maps and work well for evading jets. Thank you for watching! :)
+FEARLESSMANTISS I use the loops all the time on every map I feel that they can be very effective on every map as long as used wisely. except dawn breaker. dawn breaker is a fun map but my way of flying doesn't really mix with all those building.
hey mantis what do you record with? ive been sending people your way when people wanna learn how to fly from my LIVE stream! i was curious to what settings you use for rendering ect.
+BattleNativeHD Thank you bro!! That is very awesome of you!! .. I use a Elgato Hd60 (1920 - 1080 60fps ) to record from my Ps4 and I use Adobe Premiere to edit :)
Very good video guy, but I think it is easier to do with a ps4 game console joystick rather than a mouse and keyboard pc. Do you think this is possible with a PC?
+LHC xeresmiravia I feel more comfortable using a controller I do not use Kb/M. I've seen good players use these techniques on pc check out @TheTrojan665 he is a good example :) thank you for watching!
Thx bro! But i have some little questions, just like "which buttons may i hold to get a circle strafe", for exemple.. And The same question, but this time, to run just like U that circuit almost touching ground in Trainning camp.. I aprecciate if U Help me. Just to remember, my controller is Xbox One type... Thx again!
+Mc Prime1 You're welcome bro happy to help!! To do a circle strafe all you need is to start a roll to the left or right, pitch forward as you yaw turn in the same direction. once you start to fly in a circle maintain your momentum :) Practice this around the building on the test range :)...To fly close to the ground like I do in this video, it just takes good throttle control. Practice racing the circuit at a high altitude, gradually getting close to the ground as you get better at controlling the throttle :) thank you for watching!!
Hey mantis if you dont mind me asking what vehicle sensitivity you play on? I run on 30...but i think it might be a little high because when i get into those hectic situations i find myself having trouble maintaining accuracy with the miniguns...thanks
+Teddy Barry I use 100% vehicle sensitivity :) Practice firing and letting off the throttle, make small adjustments and burst fire your mini-guns until you get hit-markers then do full bursts :) Thank you for watching!
+FEARLESSMANTISS hey dude, can I ask what stick settings you use? and like default or veteran buttons etc? although I guess this may be pc...I'm quite new to the channel
+FEARLESSMANTISS thanks man. for whatever reason when I first started bf4 I learnt using legacy sticks as it felt more natural, although I've noticed most pro's use default so I'm thinking about relearning
Hey fmg ive been watchin ur vids fir a while and have scout heli physics and banks down but the attack heli is much heavier and i want to know the most effective attack heli maneuvers and mobility idk if atk helis are as much ur thing as scouts but any help would be nice
Thank you! I am not as proficient in the attack helicopters as I am in the scouts but these practice maneuvers still apply. Just take in consideration the attack Helicopter is heavier and gains more momentum :)
FEARLESSMANTISS awesome ty yeah thnx to you i can fly thru the buildings in zavod and golmud i feel like the thing im missing now is speed i play on ps4 and am a bf2 vet but it seems my speed control is not as on point as you are my aiming and situational awareness are my strong points ive tweaked all my settings and the sticks are on veteran cuz bf3 was that layout. Some days i can get on and kill everybody and other days i can have the worst of luck
+Raztix I usually source my music from RUclips's' audio library :) the songs I used in this video are: Cielo, Tobaggan, Work Week, Voodoo Like You Do and Dub Eastern :)
top notch pilot,,,as much as I try can never manoeuvre like that,,,maybe I hold down the triggers to long, guess you are using veteran buttons,,, really good vid and interesting to watch a pro...cheers
+sharpz44 I use Veteran buttons default sticks, which allows you to use throttle up/down simultaneously :) helps for better throttle control! :) But you should still be able to practice these methods with any control layout. Thank you for watching!
fantastic vid mantiss! i play on ps4 as well but when I'm aiming at a chopper and if it moves left or right and i move to get on target i have about 1 second or 2 delay before it actually moves can u tell me how to fix this? also what control settings do u use?
I think you are experiencing Input lag where there is a delay in the signal between your Ps4 and your TV/Monitor. I would suggest looking up " How to fix input lag on Ps4" on RUclips :) and for control settings I use default sticks and veteran buttons :) Thank you for watching :)
+iVirusProo I will keep that idea in mind bro! Until then I would suggest figuring if you are better at attacking or defending. I do better at defense so I tend to bait the enemy chopper around corners to jook them :) Most pilots over commit when attacking especially when they think you don't notice them! Wait for the enemy pilot to over commit, raise up and you will have the attacking advantage :) Thank you for watching!
Hi Manthis, just cant believe it What U do in heli!!! I aprecciate if U explain to me how can i do The same using Xbox One controller! Could U help me please??
+Mc Prime1 Thank you bro! I use a Ps4 controller :) My control setup is veteran buttons | Default sticks :) vehicle sensitivity at 100%..... Thank you for watching!
Saw you mention that you use veteran controls, do you recommend that? Ive been flying for a while and do pretty well but i want to step my game up. Do you think its easier to control with vet (once you get used to it obv) or is it all come down to preference?
I think mostly it depends on what your most comfortable using and your play style. I am a stunt pilot so for me veteran buttons allows for more precise throttle control in my opinion. If you're already use to default buttons and you're good at it, changing your button layout might set you back instead of helping you improve. So I would say try veteran buttons out for a little while and if you like it by all means stick to it and if you don't stick to whats most comfortable and use default buttons. I know plenty of really good pilots that use default buttons and I've been told that layout helps you aim better for shooting infantry. If you decide you want to stick with veteran buttons there are some advantages in using this layout In a few ways, one is allowing you to separate three different controls... Yaw, Throttle up, Throttle down... giving you the ability to use them simultaneously or completely separate. This will help you have really good throttle control which is great for stunt piloting and 1v1's :) I hope this helped! Thank you for watching :)
Is having thr throttle control seperate the reason why youre able to change direction and accelerate so quickly (towards the opposite direction) while strafing?
vehicle senistivity? i had a problem with this.. if im using jet its to heavy for 50 sens or less. but if im using chopper its feel too light. how does it possible? what vehcile sensitivity r u on?
I use 50% vehicle sensitivity but I'm on Ps4 and the vehicle sensitivity is only for vehicle turrets not the Helicopters or Jets :) Thank you for watching !
+FEARLESSMANTISS Thank you for the quick answer ;) Your flying skills are amazing. Could you imagine doing those kinds of videos for Battlefield Hardline too?
Try to always stay parallel to the ground using your horizon bar :) Always control your momentum first, let off the throttle, aim and then start firing, making small adjustments if needed. If you use Veteran buttons | Default sticks you can hold throttle up and down at the same time for long distance aim. I would only recommend using that technique at high altitudes. I would also suggest using "Yaw Controls" for aiming left and right. Try to stay away from using Roll for aiming unless you are side strafing :) and use Pitch for up and down aiming. If you decide to use your throttle while aiming you can also use throttle up/down to adjust your aim up and down :) The best way to have steady aim is making the least amount of adjustments and learning to only fire when you're on target :) Just spend some time in the test range practicing shooting the targets at different speeds and altitudes and find what works best for you :) I hope this helps you out!
That part with the bridge was so clean👌🏽
Amazing job with the tutorials! I've mastered the last tutorial Tacos!!.. You knock down as many trees as possible before hitting the ground while eating tacos! Congrats on 10k =)
+Leonard Smith Thank you very much Bro! Tacos are essential when knocking down trees on the test range!

I think you forgot the barrel rolls in mid air to help lose altitude. I use it all the time for making quick escapes.

+Zbluebone “Zblu” Gaming Thats awesome! I'm glad to inspire new pilots :)
dude your awsome!
Thank you bro! :)
what‘s your joystick setting? thx
Veteran buttons default sticks :)
what controls do you use ? you use your r2 and l2 for decend and acend i think it is and l1 for firing ?
+Mad_child__ I use veteran buttons | default sticks :)
How do you steady your reticle
Let off the throttle when you aim and try to make as little adjustments as possible :) Thank you for watching !
it`s so hard on Mouse+Keyboard to parctice this, parallel is almost not possible

Are you using keyboard+mouse or a joystick?

+BattleNativeHD Thank you very much bro!! :)
Do you use a changed setting on controls are you flying standard..thanks
I use Veteran Buttons | Default sticks :)
You use a gamepad, right?
Would you recommend it compared to mouse and keyboard?
I use a PS4 controller. They both have their advantages I would say use the one that works best for you. :)
Im glad your channel exists, so those elitist pc pilots can shut up about "no accuracy on consoles" ahaha. Great skills man.
+Watchdog3935 Thank you! :)
vehicle senistivity? i had a problem with this.. if im using jet its to heavy for 50 sens or less. but if im using chopper its feel too light. how does it possible? what vehcile sensitivity r u on?
I use 50% vehicle sensitivity but I'm on Ps4 and the vehicle sensitivity is only for vehicle turrets not the Helicopters or Jets :) Thank you for watching !
+FEARLESSMANTISS glad u reply my comment thanks 4 the answer. :)

+FEARLESSMANTISS
Thank you for the quick answer ;)
Your flying skills are amazing. Could you imagine doing those kinds of videos for Battlefield Hardline too?
+sssNICKsss I can do stunts In Hardline. Although I enjoy bf4 helicopters more! :)
+FEARLESSMANTISS
Battlefield Hardline videos would be really cool, especially on "Downtown" ;)
do you have any tips on steady aim?Im a decent pilot but sometimes and average like 40+kills a round but my aim is sometimes good and sometimes bad
Thanks for the tips man :)
can u use attak heli also show us
