Sir , ithni achi jankari k li ye dhanyawadh k sivay mere pas aur shbdh nahi! Aap ki yeh mehnath hajaro berojgar yuvavo ki jindhagi mein roshni bhar ne wali hai! Prardhana hai ki lage raho Sir ji!
Standard wire can carry current but due to high potential it may produce heat, whereas solid wire also carry current but didn't get heat even higher potential is carrying.
Excellent.....!!!!! I am layman, but great knowledge..... basics is the Skin effect....grater the diameter of solid wire grater will be the skin effect and resistance.
Standard wire
50 or 60 Hz pa skin effect kitna effective ha? (App na example ma jo photo show ki ha usma frequency KHz ma thi.) Q k ya ghr ki wiring ma use krtay hain na k electronic devices ma jaha pa frequency KHz or MHz ma b ho sak'ti ha.
Sir Industrial ke liye 16mm 4 core cable energy meter se under ki 100 amp 3 pole mccb main use karna ho toh koun sa copper cable accha hai? Standard or solid
Skin effect ka karn nii pata tha jo aaj pata chala electromagnetic flux ke karan aur. Aur ye bhi ki skin effect kin kin chijon per nirbhar karta hai.👍👍
Kya Speakers ke liye koi special wire lagta hai ya hum normal Electrical wires ko hi amplifier and speaker se connect karke use kar sakte ? Kyuki market aur online stores mein Speaker Wire bolke wires bechte hai jo bahut high price (Rs 30-40 per metre) hote hai ?
Abhi solid wire nahi milta. Pahle 3/22, 3/20, 3/18 jaise solid wires milte the jisme sirf 3 mote strands hote the copper ya aluminium ke aur wahi wiring mein lagate the par abhi sirf flexible wire hi sab dukaano me milte hai jaise 0.5 sqmm, 0.75 sqmm, 1.0 sqmm jaise diameter mein
Solid wire will break if used in speakers because we generally move the speakers frequently to different direction or carry them to other places and also connect and disconnect them frequently from amplifiers to easily carry them so if solid wires are there it will break due to frequent bending and movement so even manufacturers use stranded copper wires in music system speakers and home theater speakers
Es hisab sy to Ac k leay barek magar zeyada conductor wali wire use karni chaye.or Dc k leay kam magr zeyada gage k conductor ki weir use karna chaye Per hum karty to es k olat( bar askk) hain. Ye kun??
Dear Sir Nice And Wonderful Illustration.. But I Have One Question if One Wire is made by combining of 20 thin coper wire ( Fleexible).. & 2nd Wire is made with binding of 12 thick Coper ( litle bit more then 1st One) wire strands.. So Which One Is Best For Electricity Flow & Resistance To Electricity..Means Kon Sa Better Hai For House Wiring.. Plz I Will Wait For Your Reply.
LOL 🤣🤣 Dear BrainLess, he was right. That Standard is called Standard Wire as well not Stranded, and the the another Solid wire is known as STRANDED WIRE. That's why he has divided into STANDARD and SOLID(STRANDED) wire. Noob gathered some knowledge before leaving any meaningless comments.
Haan, bilkul sahi socha aapne. Single wire (jo ki solid wire ya non-stranded wire bhi kehlata hai) mein pure copper ka ek solid conductor hota hai, isliye usmein copper ka amount zyada hota hai. Copper ki quantity zyada hone ki wajah se, uski cost bhi zyada hoti hai. Points to Consider: Material Cost: Single wire mein copper ka ek solid piece hota hai, isliye uski cost per meter stranded wire ke comparison mein zyada hoti hai. Stranded wire mein multiple thin strands hoti hain, jo collectively utni hi conductivity provide karti hain, lekin material thoda kam hota hai. Flexibility: Single wire ki flexibility kam hoti hai, isliye usse handle karna thoda mushkil hota hai, aur installation bhi mushkil ho sakti hai, khas kar tight corners ya bends mein. Applications: Single wires zyada tar fixed installations mein use hote hain, jaise electrical wiring in walls, distribution boards, etc., kyunki yeh less flexible hote hain aur long-term stability provide karte hain. Stranded wires zyada flexible hote hain, aur inhe zyada movement wali applications mein use kiya jata hai, jaise appliance wiring, automotive wiring, etc. Cost-Effectiveness: Agar flexibility ki zaroorat nahi hai, toh single wire better choice ho sakta hai despite higher material cost, kyunki yeh durable hote hain aur breakage ka risk kam hota hai. Isliye, agar aap copper ki quantity aur uski cost consider kar rahe hain, toh single wire ka cost naturally zyada hoga. Lekin yeh application pe depend karta hai ki aapko kaunsa wire use karna chahiye.
In Railway Electrification, Solid wire is used for 25KV Ac voltage @ 50Hz Frequency. This wire is called as Contact Wire which is a Hard Drawn Grooved Copper Conductor Wire. If Stranded cable is good for AC then why Indian Railway Is using Solid Copper Conductor???
But dc wires ka cores toh ac wire se b thin hoti or dc me skin effect b nhi hota. Toh hum solar me dc cable solid wire q nhi use hota. Or solar ka dc wire humesa outside hi pda hrta hai Toh solid use q nhi krte

I m waiting your reply
Standard wire thik h bhai 16 mm ki
Matlab solid ho ya stranded wire DC me fark nhi krta par AC ho toh stranded me zyada flow karta hai aur solid me current zyada waste hota hai?

In Railway Electrification, Solid wire is used for 25KV Ac voltage @ 50Hz Frequency.
This wire is called as Contact Wire which is a Hard Drawn Grooved Copper Conductor Wire.
If Stranded cable is good for AC then why Indian Railway Is using Solid Copper Conductor???
Because current collector of engine continuously touch this wire. so it has wear and tear which is not possible with stranded wire
