0:38 if you’re in the left lane(s), you should be passing cars and then moving back over to the right. Doesn’t matter if you’re going over the speed limit, the left lane(s) are for passing not cruising. I’m not sure if you’re in one of the left lanes here, but that could be the reason you’re getting tailgated. This is a law in many states across the US but unfortunately isn’t enforced enough. This is a key reason why we have so much traffic and why we will never see anything like the Autobahn in the US

If I'm going over the limit in the "passing lane" , they can take their happy asses around me on the slow lane.
@@69mjar lol that’s not what the law says, but do what you want. I’ve heard your response before, which is why I mentioned that specific example above. Because of that backwards logic that many people have, we have more traffic and faster people swerving around slower traffic sitting in the passing lane. In case you’re thinking, speeding is against the law too… yes it is but it’s for the police to enforce, not you. There are police officers on video explaining that part too, but I’m assuming you don’t care

I've heard from supercar owners that if you drive them regularly, they hold up fine. When the sit in a garage all week, or month, that's when anything will have issues.

The real question is, where does one get the cash or capital to buy such cars in the first place. Did you start small and then grow your channel and then be able to purchase more expensive cars. Or did you already have the cash/capital, inherited or earned? I think people want to know that rather than maintenance costs.
It still seems like an extreme amount to charge for simple fluid changes even though they are super cars but I guess if they’re doing that good of care with it isn’t this something you could do yourself simple fluid changes and save a ton of money?
Nothing is simple on cars like this it’s not like a regular car and you throw it on a lift, pull a plug drain the fluid and you’re done.
@@michaelmaas5544 true im sure its got panels and who knows what else you have to remove to get to the pan. Still 800 for a few gallons of fluid, supercar life i guess….

EPA Estimates: 15 City, 22 Highway, 18 Combined. Unless Austin is hypermiling, I bet he meant 20 to 25 MPG.

EPA is wrong... I have gotten 30 and higher. I was getting 25 by the end of my trip to the dealer while winding the gears. I know it seems crazy lol!

People will always spend money on their passion. Even on just what interests them. If you want it you will find a way to achieve it.

Out the door what do one of these cost? $250k? If you finance that you're paying what, $4200/month? LoL try doing that with a mortgage, wife, kids and a $200k/year house hold income. Not going to happen.

You're doing it wrong. You have to use an income paying asset. Also. If you take a home equity or long term loan say 10-15 years. Payments go way down. This works, cuz these cars tend to keep MUCH of their value. People think they depreciate like their family car. But they don't. So u pay 12-1500 a month and sell it for nearly what u got it for. Or u could lease it. Probly like 2gs a month.
@@KiNG-tx9je financing isn't owning... The bank owns it until you pay it off. Once paid off, you've paid the principal + interest, so paid more for the car. Taking equity out of your home to buy a car even if it appreciated, is reducing your net worth (which is what really matters not credit as some banks will have you think) and putting yourself and your family in undue risk. That's not the "right" way, that's the borrowers way. Borrower is slave to the lender.

Do some guys get special loans on Supercars like they do for RVs? Is there a lender that will lend at a decent rate on an extended type of loan if it exists ? Thanks.
I've never spent more than 70k on a vehicle and that was your standard 5 yr @2.9APR for 60 months w/25k down. Payment was still approx 800 a month.

Dont forget. All exterior carbon fiber on the 600lt is supported in the Chinese aftermarket, and its better than the original for cheap. Giro disc is also branded Chinese aftermarket as represented on Alibaba. For non warranty cars, McLarens can be worked on for fluid changes.
Not as expensive as I had imagined. I am very impressed with Maclarens. They used to have sketchy quality. They seem to do well. Smart move, switching to steel brakes.

@@SpeedPhenom TCCN The Car Car Nut is the type of perfectionist I always look for when dealing with Toyota vehicles. He has a RUclips channel and recently opened up his own shop but the point being is that he discusses his “standards” required of himself and others. Yep, when I see a greasy tech paying more attention to his phone etc. I get concerned. You should check out his channel. I do after any hood of mine is opened, I pull down their lot and to a visual overview. I can’t tell you how many unfinished projects still apparent. My favorite was 3 of 4 fan blade nuts still not replaced or the failure to torque my wheels leading to emergency stop before rims fell off. Always look underneath open hood for nuts, bolts, parts left in the engine. The standard if they would fine follofc
