The type of trees placed on Bathurst in AC Evo isn't even the correct type. Those candlebark trees have a unique look and you would immediately know it's Bathurst you're racing in just by looking at them. GT has the correct environment details right down to the accurate tree species, tree line shape and placement.
This is really a preference thing. GT7 looks dark with this RUclips compression but it's not dark like that. The car models in GT7 are still unbeaten. EVO car interior looks great but it looks great at first glance when compared to GT7 just because you have a wider view perspective and overall it's just lighter in the interior. But folks with a kean eye will notice how much more realistic the materials in the interior of GT7 look when compared to EVO. For example that silver brushed metal chrome ring around the instrument cluster looks more convincing that it is actually the material it shouldd be in GT7. The way it reflects and the way light dazzles from it is just a thing of beauty. EVO has done a good job as well with that silver trim, but it's just not as real life looking as GT7. I think the track itself look better in EVO and that's not a negative against GT7 because it's tracks looks awesome as well. But in EVO it's just more life like down to the tarmac. GT7 though seems to capture the landscape in the background and therefore is more accurate than EVO. Again it's a preference thing, there is no wrong answer.
Both looks good, different flavors of eye candy however, hard to ignore the glaring problems in ACE like the clipping car, and AI. Hope they fix it, weird that clipping is even a problem and it's not the tires. Safe to say graphics is the least of ACE's problems.
That silver ring has a way better shape on Assetto Corsa EVO, is so close to the real thing, the 3D model of the whole car is very close to irl, Gran Turismo has a way worse one, just look on a video of the real car and you'll see
The dashboard looks decent in Evo. But the wheel movement is shockingly bad. That and the plastic hands. Lol. Lastly and people tend to forget this. GT7 is a PS4 game with PS5 patch. But they didn't even update the draw distance lol.

Even if you just drive on many of the tracks, you will see how much more time the developers spent on many details. You can’t play Assetto Corsa without mods the way you can in Gran Turismo, and this is where GT wins.
Honestly, Asseto Corda impressed me graphically, I thought it would have much worse graphics...if it weren't for the brightness of the sun, I think it would be very close to the graphic quality of GT7
You can now bury the GT7. The AC EVO has much better lighting. The track texture is great, and the car modeling is excellent. In the garage, there are many mechanics that I have never seen in any game. There is a car and several variants with performance kits. The physics cannot be compared. The AC EVO is a simulator in itself. Unlike the GT7, when you play, it always seems like you are driving a brick, and the collisions are unrealistic. This is not how it happens in real life. I find it very unrealistic, especially in this part. The car is hard in collisions. It is difficult to describe, but it is not natural. This was the experience I had playing. When I actually went to the simulators, I felt a lot of difference. There is no argument, it is a fact. Not to mention that the GT7 does not have modern racing cars from this decade, which is a shame. The AC EVO will certainly make more in the future. Very promising. The AC EVO and LMU are the best. Long live MOTORSPORT GAMES.

AC EVO needs some visual tweeks in the color grade, brightness and contrast, but in general it has the basics to be the best looking racing game this year. Tracks are very well detailed. GT7 cars models are the best ones in the industry, but kunos did a very good job here, and just with some shaders and materials tweaks could be really close in the general looking (3d model details are imposible to compare between gt and any other game but acevo maybe has the 2nd best 3d models out there). This ac evo has much work ahead but it has a good foundation.

Not only does that make them look fake, but they're clearly not the right species of trees that exist on the real circuit. How can anyone say GT7's trees look worse? Do the real life trees fail to conform to people's aesthetic preferences? If so, too bad, GT7's trees look like the real deal which is much more important for a simulator whose purpose is to look and feel the part so drivers can practice perfecting their lap times.
In my opinion, GT7 looks, sounds, and plays better overall. That said, I understand ACE is still in its early stages. I’m hopeful for its future because, honestly, you can never have too many great racing games.

Maybe its the method of recording but GT7 almost looks blurry to me in comparison to EVO. This definitely isn't the best showcase of GT7's graphics either as I've seen other examples that blow ACE out of the water but I wasn't expect it to be so close. I'm just happy ACE looks decent enough on top of how good the physics are.
ACE looks way better than this video in game. It's overly compressed here (look around the HUD gauges) makes it look washed out, blurry, dog water tbh. In game it's on par with GT7 with a different approach to the color saturation, grading, etc.. #1 and #2 best looking racing titles.

Seems your GT7 racing, the braking and Accelerations kind of Suck - they are not smooth at all. EVO graphics is not too bad car interior looks very good, I don't care if they have the wrong trees, etc. Its a game people and EVO is in very early stages. I only have PC Racing games, so I don't have GT7.

Evo sound was more like a muscle car, like it should. Did you see the pile up at the beginning and the car turned sideways on Evo, that's what happens in real races, means while GT7 just puts me to sleep. The only thing it has is fancy reflections, even the sound engineer was taken from Forza
Pile ups happen in GT7 nearly every race i do when I play it. I'm talking about the ai too. Nearly every time in the first 2 corners, especially at Redbull Ring. This might come to a surprise to you, but ACE isn't nailing all the car sounds correctly either. Some sound good, but some sound too loud and have a different tone or pitch to them compared to the real cars. I've driven my friends 2019 Camaro ZL1 when it was stock. It's actually pretty quiet. GT7 got the sound correct. Listening to things on videos like ypu do, and even watching videos when you nevwr played them, is by far the worst way to judge. Get some real life experience. Or better yet, stick to your love for arcade style racers. You obviously have zero real world experience with a lot of cars you criticize, and you lack any real world tracks time.

This is such an obviously rigged comparison. The ACE videos are so compressed, look around the HUD and how messy it is. In game it is crisp and very detailed. This is a terrible representation of the game. I only have a 3080 and it looks 10x better than this at 1440p. I'm not saying GT7 looks bad so chill with the fanboy comments. This video is not the one. They both look great, GT7 is more of an artistic looking game whereas EVO is more realistic looking (the color saturation, contrast, lighting, etc.)
ACE drives with the controller like you're driving the car off the edge of a cliff, it's terrible to play with the controller, 0 fun. if you're a controller player, stick with G7.
Ace is not even close to being finished and the level of detail, lighting, shadows, sounds blows gt7 away and that's without hdr. Gt7 grass look fake ,the tracks detail look blurry in the video and not very detailed and there's a lot of pop of distant textures, shadows, long grass etc.. But playing with a controller gt7 kills it with the Adaptive Triggers there are so good.

In cockpit view in ACC looks so dated. Like hands are stuck on the wheel and the wheel is driving the movement of the hands. Not the other way around. Gt7 attention to detail is unmatched

You're comparing a complete finished game to an early access game. Go watch an Assetto Corsa vs GT comparison to see how a 10 year old pc sim 💩 on your beloved GT.
@justinjackson84 Congratulations we have our first tooshie hurt contender!!! I did cover that GT and PS are both on there first patch also. EVO is also a follow up game not a new ip also, Gt's past early access games called prologue always kicks ass and delevery in all categories. Stop crying!

Seems your GT7 racing, the braking and Accelerations kind of Suck - they are not smooth at all. EVO graphics is not too bad car interior looks very good, I don't care if they have the wrong trees, etc. Its a game people and EVO is in very early stages. I only have PC Racing games, so I don't have GT7.

Assetto Corsa EVO literally destroys GT7. Both the car and the circuit. It's like 2 generations. AC EVO is on par with Forza Motorsport.

You can put the old Sega Saturn game "Daytona USA" against GT7, and he will say Daytona USA looks better. He is just purely biased against GT7 no matter what. I've argued with all of his usernames. It's the same exact pattern everywhere.

I like GT7 car exterior modeling, but the interior seems better on ACE . Still ACE need to improve the driver hands movement and give him/here leather gloves.

Evo sound was more like a muscle car, like it should. Did you see the pile up at the beginning and the car turned sideways on Evo, that's what happens in real races, means while GT7 just puts me to sleep. The only thing it has is fancy reflections, even the sound engineer was taken from Forza

Pile ups happen in GT7 nearly every race i do when I play it. I'm talking about the ai too. Nearly every time in the first 2 corners, especially at Redbull Ring.
This might come to a surprise to you, but ACE isn't nailing all the car sounds correctly either. Some sound good, but some sound too loud and have a different tone or pitch to them compared to the real cars. I've driven my friends 2019 Camaro ZL1 when it was stock. It's actually pretty quiet. GT7 got the sound correct. Listening to things on videos like ypu do, and even watching videos when you nevwr played them, is by far the worst way to judge. Get some real life experience. Or better yet, stick to your love for arcade style racers. You obviously have zero real world experience with a lot of cars you criticize, and you lack any real world tracks time.

This is such an obviously rigged comparison. The ACE videos are so compressed, look around the HUD and how messy it is. In game it is crisp and very detailed. This is a terrible representation of the game. I only have a 3080 and it looks 10x better than this at 1440p.
I'm not saying GT7 looks bad so chill with the fanboy comments. This video is not the one. They both look great, GT7 is more of an artistic looking game whereas EVO is more realistic looking (the color saturation, contrast, lighting, etc.)
All these games look nice but the best looking is GT7 and in 2nd ACE and the 3rd FM8
ACE drives with the controller like you're driving the car off the edge of a cliff, it's terrible to play with the controller, 0 fun.
if you're a controller player, stick with G7.
It's over... gran turismo and forza are done... the physics and damage will be 10x better then gt7 and forza.
Ace is not even close to being finished and the level of detail, lighting, shadows, sounds blows gt7 away and that's without hdr. Gt7 grass look fake ,the tracks detail look blurry in the video and not very detailed and there's a lot of pop of distant textures, shadows, long grass etc.. But playing with a controller gt7 kills it with the Adaptive Triggers there are so good.
Gt sport and gt7 all car engine have the same sound note and annoying transmission whine
It's crazy that Assetto Corsa EVO can look better than gt7 even though they're only 3 game in the franchise
what does this have to do with? They are using a modern engine, of course it will be very beautiful and modern. What did you expect? That AC evo had Gran Turismo 2 graphics? And there's this... Gran Turismo 7 launched in 2022 with older technology. AC runs on PC with high-performance video cards what's so crazy?
