This Tornado hit my apartment building in Darien, IL. It was scary. Could see the ceiling trying to pull up and the plumbing in the bathroom went nuts. Some structural damage on the bottom floor backsides of two buildings and a lot of roof damage and water coming through the walls. But Darien did a great job cleaning up all trees that were uprooted across the streets.
It might have been a shame that it was dark, but o man, that lighting show was SPELLBINDING!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Were you nervous?? Did a tornado touch down that night?
Whoa! Heard about this twister not long after it came through-hopefully nobody died, as it sounds like things got pretty bad in that part of N. Ill. last night. =(
, if I were you I wouldn't go film ago in the basement whoops that would be so scary I don't like tornado sirens or tornadoes or thunder and lightning or rain
I always wondered if the sirens stop how do you know if it’s safe to come out? Does anyone know. I grew up in Oak Lawn went thru that terrible tornado 🌪 of 1967, it hit Belvedere Illinois the same day. I was 12. I still have family in Oak Lawn and I live now near Aurora sirens 🚨 go off a lot. But I never know when it’s safe. Now I live where there is no basement scary. 😱✝️🙏❤️
The tornado passed just south of you between the speedway and the fire station on Willow Springs Rd. It lifted right before LaGrange Rd in the woods.

Yes sir in Woodridge, a path that extended from Willow Springs through Burr Ridge and west. What an insane day.
That storm was nuts I’m a few miles from Naperville and it was crazy!
Glad no one got seriously hurt and that you were safe!
One person is in critical condition in Naperville. 4 others are probably light to moderate.
I was at Carol Stream, IL when this happened I was outside watching the lightning the whole time 😂
I was under it in Justice when it was Disbursing my truck rocked side to side like a boat
I remember seeing lightning and fast clouds. Debree was on my window and scariest thing is my bed is next to my window. Luckily it didnt hit me.

Some towns have the sirens go back off to signal an all clear.
Soon learned they generally go off every 3 minutes to cool down .
I live where he lives and it’s annoying
Go to Chicago then
