Nishida and Ruiz being the shortest ones(6'1 and 5'10'') are the most impressive to me. Referring to the high jumps. Quality of game, Nishida is there again with Leon and others.

What about Maciej Muzaj from Poland who's attack was measured at 386cm high with 116cm vertical jump during one of the games in Polish league.

When people list spike height they should factor in the height of the player as well. For example, Kurek has a spike of 370cm while being listed as 6'9" while Poletaev has a spike of 375cm despite being 6'6". Poletaev is about 8 cm shorter than Kurek.
DAVID R these numbers often times are not correct. They are not exactly attack contact height at all. The attack height should be around 3.2m -3.3m.

Well Nishida and Ruiz have very good vertical jump but they're still short. They don't reach ball on some wild level unlike for example Leon so we're left with Leon, Poletaev and Sanders so it's far from a team.
they will lose because they don't have a setter or a libero. ;)
