My best guess is because the Clayton’s either let Scott keep the whistle, or they haven’t asked to take it back. It has been swapped a few times in March, April, November, and December 2025 with the 6 chime.
Love this engine and that it runs at relatively high track speed. Not a fan of putting a long bell 3 chime on it though; I think the 5 chime it had for its first year or two back in service was perfect for it.
