I have to confess.. we have more variety now, even seeing dolches every single match.. but that's a problem that can be fixed.

Unfortunately with the shotgun buff I’ve seen a lot of players take up a more campy play style, at the end of the day it’s hunt. But wow have I seen a lot of dudes live in corners w shotguns
And deranking is dead, might as well uninstall, if you get good at 6* 1 out of 5 matches you'll be dead at spawn by some guy killing the lobby in 1 minute then leaving the match to do it again

As a fellow poison-sparks + beetle enjoyer, I can recommend the use of poison sense, as it greatly increases your beetle kill potential.

Thanks to the damage buff the beetle got, I've been using a poison mini-springfield and a mini-drilling. Beetle bros are eating good in 1896

That trade at the beginning has just been my average experience in this damn game after the "server improvement" with this update, literally the first day trading with people shooting me from the ground pretty muxh
It is incredible how they will slowly make it better over time and then just give up and let it get this bad in the next big patch. Like the cycle of kill trading slowly improving and then taking a big fat dump on the player base has happened like 5 times at this point.
Posion sparks + beetle is something i never knew I needed but can now not live without.
With the damage buff to beetles, you can get a similar effect with the Springfield. It's horrifying to go up against lmao

I hate being 6star it's so dumb, you'd think people with better Skill would Push more, Dare more, Challange more. But nope everyone just keeps sitting somewhere with Long ammo waiting for a lucky headshot. I missed the 4star action where everyone would fight anywhere, no matter if you are on an Open Field or Compound. They got some Balls.

@bxdbxd00 yes!! I think it is kind of a toxic thing about Hunt too. If you get annoyed that everyone plays slow and camps. Then people say "Hunt isn't your type of game then, leave" very much gatekeeping and perpetuating this lame playstyle. I do wish people branched out more and actually "played the game" and got into fights instead of just running away or sitting behind a rock waiting for you to run away so they can shoot you

People have been using fire beetle spam like CRAZY recently. Idk what happened to make all these hunter's wake up and go,
"Huh, burning off a permentent 25hp from 100m away before shooting them with Sparks/Mosin is Good,"
Because jesus fuck did everyone come to that conclusion at the same time. Lmao
People thought sprinting hellfires was game crippling or whatever, and dont get me wrong, its strong. But I think the inherent risk of buring off Your Own face with them makes the fire beetle, now with a buff, MUCH more appealing.
And why wouldnt it be? Most people start their heathbar with a small, even after the fire changes. Even with Salve it can be tough to catch. Especially with these Packmule MFers throwing 5 beetles down your throat 😂
I dont mind too much yet. But deadass, the fire beetle spam Ive seen recently makes me YERN for Sparks/Beetle/Hand Crossy builds to fight. Lol
The person with the high ping is to have the disadvantages, not 50/50 or even more disadvantages on the other players. This is not an opinion, its a logical conclusion. They need to implement serverside hit confirmation or lower the ping limit.

I feel like my 6* lobbies are either chads or bots. Its weird. I may get a lot of kills but most of the people in my lobbies definitely are not 6* and more like 3 to 4*.

The DESYNC has been so much worse since the engine upgrade, 6/10 times I die to the person who I just killed about 1-2 seconds ago. Getting shot while already in behind cover for 1-2 seconds is also too common. Also, the patch they announced 3 days after release is still nowhere near, CRYTEK pls fix...
Desync is something else, this is latency. desync happens when your client and the server disagree about your position and during the process of reconciling, it looks like you fall off a ledge in a glitchy way.
but yeah decreasing the ping from 200+ to 150 would probably help these insane delayed deaths
@@EliteGam3r I know, and I'm not sure but I think desync can be used to describe what I said as well. I have a hunt video on my channel where I climb up on a rock and one second I'm successfully on top, and the next second I fell, so yeah I do know that desync is mostly used to describe what you said.

the 1896 update feels like one step forward but 5 steps backwards
half the community including me find this game unplayable now, every session there are game breaking issues that just ruin the game
kinda tragic they deserve the mostly negative ratings
and us console players didn't even get what we waited years forr and they promised they'd give us, custom controls, crossfriends and bugfixes but we got nothing but more bugs, a shitty ui and maybe it's easier to inspect my weapon.
@@flutedknight523 thats tragic, pc players got major performence issues, even rachta with a 4090 was crying whole two days after release that the game doesnt run well
for me and my friends who have normal person computers the game gets unplayable at times and you already have to tolerate the awful average performence

very hard since the update to have fun while its overrun by fu.... chinese and russian ping abusers and cryteks not existing matchmaking while brand new players play with people with thousands of hours expirience and all the 5 stars which leveled them down to 3 stars
Maaan.. Crytek lost an oportunity to make this game more fun to play...
1 - Reduce Dolch Fire Rate;
2 - Reduce Dolch full clip from 10 to 8;
3 - Remove Dolch FMJ Ammo;
4 - Bring back the High Velocity Ammo Pool we had before (no justification at all for the nerf).
for point 4, there was pretty much 0 reason to run base ammo over it
