It’s a great mode for lights and meds that can run around and surprise the opposition and as you said it definitely helps you to learn where the weak spots are on tanks
Some of the maps can be funny as you can see the enemy in the spawn and start shooting from the start. I think the mode is useful for getting to know and remember the weak spots of tanks. The annoying thing is how blind some people are in the game. People seem to have very bad situational awareness which can really affect teamwork. Some good tips in the video. Not using a camo and staying still can really be an effective tactic / entertaining in this mode. NGL, looking forward to when these game modes end. Game mode fatigue has become a thing. Came across you in game the other day and we were chatting after that poor game.
Important note (I edit my description, because I left that one out - regarding the spawn shooting) You are absolutely correct also, that people tend to zoom in at what is just in front of them - and grow "blind" to their surroundings - especially in this mode.. can be great fun if you happen to be on the opposing team.. Yeah I rememeber, Skirmish, me in the 183 and u in the VK 72 (I really sucked that game.. sorry ;) )
@@majorhawkins The desert maps can be unreal for it especially Oasis Palms. Nothing we could do in that game the team was wiped out so fast, game was an auto loss
Cool coincidence that you ran in to Silent Cougar in the first match! I’m on the NA server, and have been in matches with Droodles and HisRoyalFatness a few times. Always concerned I’ll be a total noob and they’ll show me on their YT channels, but I played surprisingly well in those matches. Thanks for the insights on realistic mode!
Yeah it is so much fun when you stumble upon people you know who are :) I remember that I for a long time looked for Meadsy here on EU, but never had a game with him, that I know of.. always the risk of being sucky.. or just getting full HP ammo-racked :)
You had a fine game there, and as said, getting behind me could have turned the tables very easily. Your mention of 'training', assists the brain in where to hit in realistic, that releases huge benefits in regular battles as your knowledge of armour has increased, plus the armourprofile gets highlighted for you. . Map awareness becomes so easy to follow 'seeing' where the enemy is on the map, and using icon recognition, allows you to know who is where. All those little tips, hints, knowledge and experience makes you a worthy opponent. Although I have to admit, last 24 hrs has been horrendous with RNG playing a big part along with team skills...But we batter on regardless, its a game, we can respawn in the garage into another battle and forget the last one.
So true - we must remember its just a game... (its just a game... repeat..) But oh boy, it is often so one-sided.. either 7-0 or 0-7 As long as we have fun playing, doing some challenges and maybe share whatever beneficial knowledge we can for the relatively small number of followers we have, and hope we get to share a game or two with some of them :) GG, that E3 is so annoying to deal with - CU in game ;)
Its a mode for players (those with some brains at least) to use their EYES and learn situational awareness instead of blind running around. The only way to cheat in this mode is dual spam spotted enemy tanks to perma-spot them....but that comes at a cost of continuous ping and sounds.
The stupid thing about realistic is you cannot use most of the blitz nation vehicles including the ones I've on just unlocked ie- silencer, Shoplifter the Fanrik
Realistic should have been the base mode of this game from the start. You know what it's good for? Exposing how bad the bots are at learning where to shoot tanks.

surprise attack - I love that indeed :)

Realistic has one purpose only: To be sneaky

Cheers, this was enlightening... haven't tried realistic yet... but it looks interesting.
You should, good fun :)

You can HE the Sheridan from the front bottom part.
