I'm still laughing at how the Venture knife is known as the Immler Knife. It's about time you received serious recognition for your years of input and work. Have a wonderful weekend Felix and continued success.
Thank you so much my friend!
Another really informative video, Felix! I agree with QuantumMechanic_88 about it is time for you to be honored for your work!
I agree with this I literally brought this because of Felix and his videos etc. I will make a video testing etc and will say this aswell

When the great felix immler refers to someone as a
" carving master "
You know the guy is out of everyone's league ... ..lol
I know the great dave Canterbury gets tips from you felix ... we all know you're the go to source for bushcraft techniques sir ...

Excellent tutorial Felix. I'm very impressed with the design features of this knife. Equally impressed with your input. Great job, thanks.
Thank you very much. Your feedback makes me happy!
Couldn't this be a Diving knive?
THANK YOU!!!! I've been a chef for many years and I bushcraft. You are the first to hold the knife properly to prepare food. Respect from Florida USA 🌴
Your feedback makes me happy!!!!!! Thank you Richard!
I almost passed up this video and didn't really expect to learn much. I was wrong and I thank you for your instruction and demonstration. Once in a while, RUclips actually volunteers some good stuff! Cheers!
Every single little detail has a purpose and is refined to perfection 👍
Thank you so much!
Hi from Australia Felix.
I love your video explanations on the Victorinox products. No one does it better 😊

I’m so glad i bought mine the first week it became available. Its usefulness is expanding week by week. Unlike my heftier and costlier big-name fixed-blades, this knife is super handy in the kitchen and is a joy to use whether I am peeling an apple or slicing a taro root. The spine against any ferro rod creates seriously productive sparks:) Re-sharpening literally takes only a minute of stropping. Knife itself is so light. Carry it everywhere.
Thanks a lot for this great feedback!
Chest lever grip is my go-to. It's good for using around other people because the blade is contained within your personal space. Thank you Felix 🙂
Good hint...thank you!
Can't wait until next Friday to see what Felix comes up with then !!! Thanks Felix you are the BEST !!!
Thanks a lot dear Scott!
It's Immlerday 💪💪 That knife looks fantastic! Love these serious reviews, thanks Felix 😘
Thank you very much!
Felix, my dear man, I think you explain this features really well. More importantly you also show the control available with the positioning of the grip and arms.
Great work, I learned simmering new today, and that's not a common thing❤
Thank you very much for your honest feedback!
Ventura caught Felix very strong! I think, the serrated blade must be useful too!😊 Have a great weekend!
Yes..you are right..
I use these thumb ramps as a way of scraping tinder off bark or resinous woods, also when striking the firesteel. When holding the knife just like the chest lever grip puts the spine of the knife in a very comfortable position for this purpose.
Super hint!!! Thank you!
@@FelixImmler thank you sir! I gather so much useful Info from you always, so I'm honored being able to add just one to you!
If i didn't have three Mora's I'd be tempted by theVictorinox Immler.
Great presentation and demos 😊
Same here. I can do everything I need with a Mora. The Felix knife would be high on my list if I was looking for a replacement.
I could justify this purchase while owning a Mora by the fact that the Imler knife has a flat grind which is preferable for food prep in the camp kitchen and is still a good backup for other chores around camp. I normally pack a carbon steel blade for camp chores and stainless for camp kitchen.🇨🇦
@@kevola5739 Agreed - my Mora 2000 works as camp kitchen knife (flat ground section). Scandi carbon suboptimal as carrot slicer.
@@Robert_Thomas832 - Yes, I have been eyeing the Mora Kansbol with the same thinking in mind, though not really sold on the sheath style of the Kansbol.
The versatility of the 2000/Kansbol is great. Handle/sheath of 2000 is a bit different. Victorinox Immler probably rules them all :)
Fantastic informative video, as usual,, 👍👍
Thanks a lot!
Einfach klasse! Sie sind der Größte! Ein tolles Messer.

Thank you very much for your support!
Thanks for sharing. great tips. Only wish I could buy one in my flagship store in London
uffff, unsure if that's possible in England... i guess not
Are you guys even allowed to look at knives online?
A fourth value is if you run your index finger up the spine and grip for skinning or field dressing; your middle finger and thumb will meld onto those ramps.
Thanks for this interesting comment!

You can use the pull cut to make great looking feather sticks much easier than other ways. I think it is funny no one ever shows how to do it.🤔👍
Thanks a lot for this super interesting feedback! I will try to do it!
You are right, that is how we do it here also 👍
It really is the best bushcraft knife ever. I hope you also work on a survival knife project.

OK! As long as I don't have to make that whooshing sound with each cut lol😅.I like that cut as well. One viewer made a good point. The cut is contained in my personal space when other people are around. Another safety aspect to proper knife use. Always. Safety first. The last thing you want to do is break out the first aid kit let alone the trauma kit 😮😢 . Thanks for all the idea's and work you do Felix. Massive value in all of it. Take care.

Thermoplastic Elastomer / TPE is my favorite grip.
Much better than Micarta or G10, which are slick.
Thanks a lot for your interesting feedback!

I've had so many knives. ESEE, Becker, BRKT, Morakniv(=👌) etc.
Just my observation.
Micarta slick?!?!😆😅🤣😂🤣

I want the venture pro. But do you know if there al plans to make a red one?
This question you have to ask Victorinox direct.
LG Felix
Felix will there be other colours available with the drill hole? I’m not a fan of black handles, but do like your design!
No... the knife with the drill hole is black. But you can ask Victorinox if they plan to make the Pro in different collors
Me too I like to buy the higher level knife in red.
Great tips, but anyway, never move the or any knive to your body. Its an surving rule, which each slaughter and butcher learns first. Self killing accidents are not rare, if you do not accept this rule.
Gibst du auch Kurse in Schnitzgymnastik? Gruß, Karl.

I thought the other side was curved because if someone would like to hold the knife in their left hand.... There should be more left handed friendly tools.... left handed scissors for example...
this knife is 100% the same for right and left handed people. The knife sheath also works 100% for left-handers. But on the foldable Swiss Army Knife you are right...
Hallo Felix & Victorinox
Could this maybe a Divingknive?
Das ist sehr korrosionsbeständig...ja.

Thank you for the video, Felix.
Thanks for your feedback!

We'll still the video, even if it is long, because your information is priceless. I liked a lot the way that you hold the knife "backwards" and use the ramp and your thumb for a better grip.

I don't understand your comment ..sorry
@@FelixImmler for what this ramp is. i made it on my knife.
The knife is very nice but the sheath and retention loop sucks. They need to fix this issue and not at an additional cost to me. Nor should I have to do a hack to fix this. The price I paid it should have been perfect already. Sorry but this sheath is a fail.
We are working on this topic. I hope i can give a positive depeche in some weeks...

Yes!!
overpriced for the metal you get paying for brand
too expensive for the cheap materials used .
I don't know many cheaper 14C28N knives....
Now this is the 6th video in a roll, about this knife...it starts to be annoying and boring...
The knife is not bad, but in the same time nothing so special in any way...there are much more better bushcraft knives on the market.
Thanks for your feedback!
It is the first Victorinox knife really made for bushcraft, and he is a bushcraft expert who works with Victorinox. What else you expected?
It’s like asking a dad to don’t take pictures of his first newborn baby.
And in the case of such a novelty, I think every bit of information it’s great.
Get out of here.
Well, the valuable cutting position tips make it worth my time, I don't have the Immler knife but still get use of the videos
Many of us viewers specifically asked for this tips, don’t be rude.
Junge, such Dir eine Frau.
A very clever and thought out in detail planned design for a knife. Kudos and respect! Unfortunately, I have not succeeded to buy the Victorinox Venture Pro knife here in Finland. I did manage to order the Venture Pro Kit which is fantastic. Once I got the knife I will definitely review it on my channels.
Thanks a lot!
very clear and concise as always, and a good mention for Jögge - I have watched him many times, a real master. Thanks Felix.
Thank you very much!!
This might be a useful and ergonomic knife design.
But I feel it is lacking in aesthetics. I want a knife to be aesthetically pleasing and useful. Otherwise it will simply collect dust in some drawer.
It's always a pleasure watching the master at work. Thank you Felix for another lesson on the proper way to use the knives made by VICTORINOX. Proper knife handling lessons everyone should know. No matter what knife brand.💯💪💪🔱⚓🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you very much!!
It’s for yan can cook
Yes... and more...
Yan Can Wok
The more I see this design being used, the more I want one as my next knife. Something so seemingly simple having so many varied uses seems to be the heart of the Victorinox (and Felix's) philosophy.
Thank you very much for this wonderful feedback!
A great knife but with even greater competition in the same and lower price ranges.
Not gonna lie, I'm contemplating getting this (even tho I don't need another bushcraft knife for the already large collection 🤦♂️) because of my urge to make tool sets matching.
The venture together with like the forester or farmer together with a swiss army hatchet would make for a very sexy swiss bushcraft/camping trio.

Hey FELIX I take it your the SAK REPRESENTATIVE. Please if you could I have noticed less saks with the magnify glass being produced. I think a great bushmaster sak would have the following as a new model.
1. Large blade and small blade
2. Saw
3.magnify glass
4.awl
5.can and bottle openers
6.carry hook
7. Cork screw
Then toothpick, tweezers, and the ferro rod.
Perfect for all conditions for fire starting and preparation. Magnify glass on clear day and ferro for wet conditions. What do think? Please suggest such a model as I would buy it and most likely plenty others . 🤔😉👍🤝🤞🙏
That would be great. Please tell your idea Victorinox direct: www.victorinox.com/us/en/Product-Ideas/cms/productideas
Thankyou i forwarded my idea with the link provided. 😉👍🤞😅😅
Great video as usual, Felix!

Love the knife but to be honest, I don't like the microstructure on the front of the handle. It created a hot spot on my hand when I was carving the other day. Otherwise, I love this knife.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! What exactly was the problem?
I just found that the microstructure on the surface at the top front of the handle irritated the web of my hand while carving enought to create a hot spot. I ended up finishing my carving with a Mora Garberg. I was carving seasoned oak to use for a mallet head.@@FelixImmler I will probably sand it smooth.

The only thing I really didn't like is that you jammed the blade with a club during the intro. It's just misleading for people who have now practical experience and jump on the rolling "bushcrafting" train. Victorinox should have branded your name on it. FYI, I have never really cared about a particular knife in my life. If it cuts, I use it. I owned a Victorinox Camper for years, but never carried it. Since watching Felix, I started carrying it as my preferred pocket folding knife. And always used any fixed blade knife. But now, I'm seriously debating the pro version of this particular knife. Shut up, and take my money.
Just kidding, don't shut up. But take my money.

Felix- congratulations on 220K subscribers!! I remember you at 25K. Cheers!
Thank you so much for supporting me since years!!!
Well done on your input in developing this knife.
Very practical knife and kudos to making it flat ground for all purpose use. Scandi grind is great but limited use only.
Steel selection is good too for the intended purpose.
It is unfortunate though a lot people are testing it as if it is a pry bar and break it, you can break any knife like doing so. Just use the knife as it is intended to be used, not as an axe or pry bar.
Keep it up.
Cheers
