Safaricom blames undersea cable cut on slow internet

Safaricom is blaming an undersea cable cut for the ongoing slow internet speed in the country and a severe disruption on some its service. The Telco says the internet outage was caused by cuts on two undersea cables that deliver inbound and outbound internet traffic. This comes a day after the communications Authority said it had no plans to curb internet after reports emerged on social media alleging a planned internet shutdown by CA.
